yayim18
I'm having the strangest problem, my weapons are moving really wierdly. When I draw my bow it will aim WAAAAY up if I aim up and WAAAAAY down if I aim down, like so far down I can see my own quiver in my face. There is no way to keep it steady, it's like I'm a puppet. In 3rd person if I aim up or down my character's body bends drastically past human ability so that she is bending really far back or so far down that her torso is between her feet. Additionally, when I have other weapons out in first person, my arms will move so that sometimes the weapon isn't visible and sometimes it's in the middle of the screen. It's like my arms are on a swivel joint or something and they can't stay in one place like they usually do. It's only on one character so far as I know. I need a way to fix this, it's basically inpossible to hit anything with my bow. With other weapons, swinging them once will get my arms back to normal but there's no fix for the bow. I'm really annoyed. Edited August 23, 2013 by yayim18

jpatca
s#*!. I have this issue too. The bow seems to be out of place, and whenever I'm aiming and point slighty up, the bow moves away completely from the crosshair and if I point really up, It goes like 180º behind me and disapears. How the hell can I fix this and whats causing it? I had it before but can't remmember how I fixed it.
igotnousername
Just so this will be answered.Check if you have mods that alters head movement or camera, check also if you have animations that changes the aiming, then just restart your game. It might fix itself. Once had this problem. I figure it must be the Player Headtracking mod that makes my players arm swivel to the left and right (despite saying it disables when weapons are out, 3rd person camera doesn't agree with the author), and bend over too much once my character caught something of interest (which is always staring at the sun for some reason). So I configured some options and restarted the game. Fixed. Edited February 11, 2015 by igotnousername
vortik
Thank you so much, igotnousername! The hint at the "Player Headtracking"-mod did it for me! I deactivated the mod in-game and the bug was gone. It also didn't reappear when I reactivated the mod. I'm so relieved and happy to be able to go on playing without having to load an earlier savegame! :-D

smigulof
If you have deleted the mod Player Headtracking by maegfaer http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23600/?All you need to do is type Player.SetAnimGraphVar IsNPC 0 into the console to fix the bug. (it instructs you to do that to troubleshoot the mod after uninstalling it on the page and it worked for me) Edited July 8, 2017 by smigulof
