Custom 'Hat Hair'

I'd do this myself if I knew how they worked, but anyway, I'm sure at least someone will agree that female hairstyles look kind of dumb when wearing headgear. Would it be possible to make a custom hat hair mesh for each style, specifically the ones in the custom hair pack, although the vanilla ones would be nice too. I just think it's kind of lame that you go from a high volume hairstyle to perfectly strait, neck hugging hair, just because you put a hat/helmet/whatever on, they should maintain that volume and actually look like they're sticking out from the headgear, not hanging from it, and they shouldn't look like a completely different cut.
