spiralout18
Hello. Like the topic says, I am somewhat new to the whole modding aspect of gaming, but I am no stranger to the Fallout games in general. But to get to the point. I have just recently started adding mods to my Fallout NV game through n.m.m and I pretty much started out by watching "Gopher's Vids" (Modding Fallout NV Ultimate Edition) on Youtube to help me learn the basics and everything. And they are helping a lot. But I'm kind of stuck at to which type of "Shaders" mod that I should download and or if someone could at least throw me in the right direction with a couple options, because I was looking at the ENB Shaders Classic, but that's about it, and to be honest it was pretty confusing to me because of all the different options to choose from. But like I said if someone could please take just a min of their time to help me out with some advice to some shaders mods i would appreciate it. And by the way, the only mods i have downloaded right now are: Unified HUD Project, Mod Config Menu, O HUD, Darnified UINV, and the large set of NMC'S Texture Packs. And I'm also looking for some advice on some Weather Mods possibly, but as of right now I'm thinking of going with Nevada Skies URWLified. -Thank You

bben46
First, you need to understand that ENBs can kill your FPS - essentially you are trading FPS (frames per second) for eye candy. Some will be worse than others. But if your system can take the load - try a few- look at the pics and find one that looks the way you want your game to look. Then try it to see what it looks like in game. If you like it - and can take the FPS hit - go with it. If not, remove that one and try another one. Not everyone likes the same thing in their eye candy - if they did we would only have one ENB. I prefer a light airy world with plenty of color. Someone else may like a darker gothic feel to their game - and there are ENBs for both - plus a lot of in between. Unfortunately, my current system is straining to run without an ENB.
