Is Drive C: only install option?

The C: Drive on my Computer is strictly fore Windows.

All Game Data are on 2 other Drives. I want to install Vortex on the Drive i use fore the games planned to mod by it.

Is there a way to install it to Drive D: or F: ?

 

I read the article :

Mod Staging Folder

D:\Games\Mods\Skyrim SE

D:\Games\Mods\Fallout 4

D:\Games\Mods\Fallout 3

D:\Games\Mods\Fallout News Vegas

And of course Vortex adds the Game Subfolder to that so

THAT IS OF NO HELP AS LONG AS

C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex

CANT BE CHANGED TO

D:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex....

 

Any Ideas, Workarounds or Solutions?

Vortex doesn't install to c:\Program Files, it installs to %PROGRAMFILES% - that is a windows setting.

If you don't want applications to install to C:, tell your windows that and Vortex will comply, it's not necessary or sensible to manually adjust the installation path for every application individually.
