Recomended Mods

LEt's see... good mods...

- better bodies. (Just to get rid of the disjointed ugly bodies... if nothing else)

- Magical Trinkets of Tamriel (I have Version III... is this the latest? And i can't find the sigils... may not be in existence)

And... well, anything that adds a variety of NORMAL weapons (not necessarily artifacts), and armor... try the 'indoril elite armor mod'... silver and black looks cool, and normal characters can wear it without being attacked! (And the colors match Prince Corwin's...)

- Swords of Morrowind (lots of cool swords... nuff said)

- Farrp's weapon compilation! (LOVE this mod)

- scripted spells. Useful transformation, and fun besides.

- Illuminated order, just to be a lich.

- A bank mod so you can amass some money (some mods have high-cost weapons...)

- Vampires embrace. Makes playing a vampire feasible.

- G I A N T S... And pray that you aren't a 56k user... like me... *sob*

- and because im a fan of the series, (and it's found here at mwsource...) Zero Armor. That red armor looks cool, and the shimmer effect actually befits it a bit... and it's balanced!)

that's all i can think of at the moment.

Edit: Let's not forget some of the good USEFUL stuff...

- Cult of the clouds - A somewhat unknown guild mod, real good! (Noone around my town has even heard of it...) You gain the ability to control the weather, and bring out sunshine just by joining. VERY well done. Goodbye Blight storms!!!

- Balmora expanded has lots of good stuff in it, between furniture, houses, clothes, armor, weapons, etc... (sadly, again, i don't have the complete expansion yet... standard 56k excuse.)

- a good house mod: Private Mobile Field Base. - Great for more advanced players, but really annoying to newbs, since it costs 200000 just to buy the friggin thing, and more to expand it... hoep you can soultrap. But besides having a museum to display your stuff, and warehouses... (see next note) you can use it to travel to many different important places, but you have to pay 50000 to unlock a location and toss in a golden saint soulgem... useful, but sometimes annoying. Best just to dock it above balmora or Caldera...

- And alternative is a 'warehouse' to store your junk. There's one in balmora with a short quest to earn it, and it's not an evil quest. Then its got lots of chests and boxes to store stuff in, with mannequins to display all your armor. (i must admit, a daedric armor mannequin is rather imposing...)

- For a very imposing challenge: Ghostpath - I have yet to BEAT the boss in this place, and that's WITH cheating. The final boss of the main mission doesn't even hold a candle to this guy. Nice sword if you do win though... not to mention, the normal enemies in the dungeon beforehand are enough to wipe the floor with anyone below lv. 100...

- the puzzle canal expansion - adds a daedric dungeon with some nice artifacts insiede, a choice of 1 of 6 ultimate artifacts if you beat the boss, but they are balanced by the time you can. (I like thumper!) also provides some low level artifacts for someone just fooling around. I even like the plot to this one. And it's seperate from the rest of the puzzle canal... so it doesn't interfere with gameplay.

That's enough for now...

I'm using so many plugins, but these are some of the ones I can think of off the top of my head only listing ones i think stay in the world of Morrowind, no machine guns or flying saucers.

Heads and bodies category:

World of Faces- puts more variety of faces on the NPC's

Better Bodies or smoother bodies

Mohawks

(lots of hair and face packs that add to and not change the originals.)

Clothing category:

Leias Wizzard Hat

(lots of clothes and armor mods i can't name , some require smoother bodies, some better bodies)

Companions:

Hilda

Laura Craft

Witchgirl

Abigails petshop

Items:

Area effects arrows

grenades

Land:

Siege at Firemoth

Cerebron Castle

Infernos Island

Liligue Island

Creatures:

GIANTS

Travel:

Master Propylon Index

Balloons

DragonRider Service

Solstheim Travel

Moon Temples ( I have't had a chance to find any of them yet but they sounded cool)

Other:

Guildmaster bonus

Generations (puts children in the towns, The NPC's aren't sterile anymore)

ManaRegen- regenerates your magicka according to your willpower.

and of course my own plugins.

I going to try out madmax's fishing acadamy, you're supposed to be able to fish and travel in real time on boats, steering them and even a submarine.

Plug-ins are great, aren't they? You have to get Better bodies and some kind of face mod, I've got All New Faces or whatever, it's got this breton face that looks just like Aragorn. GIANTS mod is nice to.. Morrowind Crafting and NoM for a few new skills and some realism, I mean who wouldn't want to have a portable tent and a campfire in the forrest at night while making a bedroll and some chairs for money so you won't starve to death.. again?

Sandy, if you're having problems with a mod please start a new thread about it... also typing in legible english is recommended, otherwise no-one will be able to help you. Thanks!

You can find the rules for this forum here.

Sorry for that OT post. Carry on! :tongue2:

The Better Heads one is ok, but Orcs shouldn't be so *ugly*! I tried getting the Morrowind Complete Full thinger, but Euro-Morrowind is down-and I don't like Gamespy, so I don't want to make an RPGPlanet account. Any mirrors?

The Cooking component of Morrowind Complete is good, but painful. When I cook, I risk death or severe injury!
