Remap Deadly Reflex 5 to mouse

When you activate the mod, it mentions that mouse keys are not supported but possible to map by using the console.

Then it says to read the readme for instructions.

Well, I might be blind or something, but I went through the file about 3 times, and couldnt see any mention of it.

Can anyone help me here?

thanks

Here's the answer from an older Deadly Reflex readme:

SPECIAL - HOW TO BIND MOUSE KEYS FOR THE MOVES:

***********************************************

Instantly after setting some keyboard keys for the moves (if you have set them earlier, you need to reset the mod and set the keys again first)

----------------------------------------------

type in the console:

set skycaptainsSb.bashkey to xxx

set skycaptainsSb.flipkey to yyy

set skycaptainsSb.horseCombatKey to zzz

where xxx,yyy, and zzz are numbers from 256 to 265.

256 = LMB

257 = RMB

258 = MMB

264 and 265 are for the mouse wheel movement - the rest of the numbers mean other possible mouse buttons you might have, but there is no other way to know which number is which button than testing one by one.

Watch out, the MMB (middle mouse button) is set to "change view" in the default controls, to disable it you have to edit the oblivion.ini, I was wondering why the view changed every time I bashed somebody. :whistling:

i have two keys on the side on my mouse witch would be perfect for binding grab and bash to.. can anyone help me here?

i just want to bind the moves to the keys on the side of my mouse.

What I'd do(and am now going to do, this is a good idea) is once you've bound the functions to keys, use your mouses own configuration to make the respective buttons act as keystrokes for those commands. Dunno what kind of mouse you have, but say a side button(lets call it for) could be letter 'M', which is configured ingame to be duck...Just for example. I'm using a razer lachesis as my first multibutton mouse and don't know what others are capable of really.
