hucker75
Any way to stop yourself being unrealistically injured if you fall a long way but use your jetpack to decelerate yourself? A parachutist doesn't suffer from a 4000 foot fall if he slows down before hitting the ground.
instyne49
Take a look at this. It's worth a look. It's called " The Long Fall " I use it for every play through, because it's handy. I haven't used or needed a jet pack in forever. It's configurable at the Armor workbench. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18468
hucker75
Sounds fun, but too much like cheating for me.
robotized
Instead of holding the button, try pushing it several times. I think it makes some difference. Otherwise I'm not sure there's a way to fix what you ask. Unless you choose completely negating the fall damage.
hucker75
Thanks! Nonsensical, but that works. I just jumped off the light blue unmarked building NE of Faneuil Hall which sounds windy when you get to the top via two elevators and survived. Mind you it's also nonsensical that you can only reach a certain height, but get higher if you happened to start higher, but go back to floating over the lower ground.
