  1. I'm using the mod nuclear winter: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/37988 I've opened it in FO4edit, but I can't find the variables I need to change. I want to change the temperature at which various things happen (eg severe hypothermia), but I can't see any numbers in there which seem to correspond.
  2. That would be "my bad judgement". If the dictionary has things like "my bad" in it, presumably it also has "y'all" and other non-things. I guess it does, my sister edited the Scots dictionary and it has fu*kah in it as a word. This is an English speaking forum, please don't use American, or I'll write in Glaswegian.
  3. I use a shortcut to "C:\Games\Fallout 4 ahem!\f4se_loader.exe" AFAIK, the mods all work as well as mods can be expected to considering I have over 100.
  4. Never heard of that before, I've been playing it for years without doing that. I'll try through NMM next time, what's supposed to happen differently?
  5. I launch the game through F4SE, as I use a lot of mods with scripts. I found "Custom Camera" by Qudix, but I need that as it moves the player position. Unfortunately it has a FOV control in it which was set to 75. Changing it to 140 only worked until I saved and loaded the game again. Also "FOV Slider and Player Height" by g0kur, which I changed to 140 and it ignored me after saving and loading. I need that for making him the correct size. I give up trying to find the source of the problem. Something conflicts with something else. If only Bethesda hadn't made the game need so many fixes. SO..... there must be a way to put in a timed console command?
  6. Nexus Mod Manager. Somebody suggested another once, I can't remember if I switched to it, probably not. NMM is still installed on my computer.
  7. I have a mod to extend FOV, I can't remember what I use now, I tried a couple which didn't work too well, then settled on hotkey commands. The files are not read only, and are in C:\Users\peter\Documents\My Games\Fallout4 Changing it in the console and in the ini files is not permanent. The change stays in the ini file but is ignored. Could it be using ini files elsewhere?
  8. I've just checked. The three ini files all had 70 in three places each. I changed them to 140. The game ignored them. I'm using an F key within the game bound to a console command to change it to 140. And another F key to change it to 70 for the pipboy.
  9. No, the FOV changes going into or out of buildings, using the pipboy, using the workshop, dying and returning to last save, etc. I'm using a wider FOV than is probably accepted by the program. Plus I also want to be able to change the FOV between two, as the wide angle makes the pipboy too small to see.
  10. I'm really annoyed with the game constantly changing FOV. I have a key assigned to change it to the way I like it (realistic instead of like you're looking through a magnifying glass), but I have to press it many times. Is there a way to run the command every x seconds?
  11. They're not cool, they're hot. Although that doesn't work. They don't warm you up like a fireplace.
  12. I thought that was it, but it wasn't working. Now it is. Glitch.
  13. In my inventory, I can press Q then add the currently selected weapon or food to a number. But how do I take one away? I've found a very clumsy workaround of moving it to another slot which I want something else to be in, then putting that something else on top of it, but surely there's an easier way? I've come back to this game after a year and I'm sure there was a way I used back then.
  14. What we need is a copyright free world, it's far too childish.
  15. Don't be daft how does a mod break any copyright?
  16. When looting a dead boy, is there any way to disable the "are you sure you want to take all"?
  17. The trouble is when I think of it like a company. The guy at the top has priority. So er..... if I have esl mods I actually have no idea what order they're in? I don't usually pay much attention to load order, just when a mod breaks, I disable and reenable it in NMM which puts it at the er... bottom. I can crash the game by deploying 30 impact grenades in a flammable area or one with many tanks that blow up. The amount of fireball created overwhelms the game engine. Might just be my old GPU. I have spare GPUs anyway, I've got to about 10 now. I have the best one on games, another for displaying to extra monitors, and the rest in the garage doing research (see BOINC). They all do research when I'm not playing games. I owe the electric company a lot more than they realise.
  18. I have an impact grenade launcher from somewhere, that's fun! Usually blow myself up too, or get a lot of radiation poisoning. I can't get the hang of the terminology for load order. I can understand first and last. The last one to load overrides the earlier ones. But what is top and bottom? From what you just wrote, I think top is the first loaded one and bottom is the last loaded, so bottom is actually the highest priority one, which makes my head spin!
  19. I have a feeling it was 1 quest mod that deliberately added all these mines, I have a vague memory of this. No idea which one though. Thanks for the adjustment, I've downloaded it, this workaround is easier than messing about removing mods!
  20. Found it, in "C:\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\Fallout4\Mods\ModProfiles\n4pzgw3y\loadorder.txt" GameMode=Fallout4Fallout4.esm=1DLCRobot.esm=1DLCworkshop01.esm=1DLCCoast.esm=1DLCworkshop02.esm=1DLCworkshop03.esm=1DLCNukaWorld.esm=1four_play_resources.esm=0HUDFramework.esm=1WorkshopFramework.esm=1FOVSlider.esl=1Loot Detector.esl=1CWSS Redux.esp=1Homemaker.esm=1SettlementKeywords.esm=1ArmorKeywords.esm=1Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esp=1Clear Water Default Radiation.esp=04PlaySEU.esp=0four_play.esp=0CBBE.esp=1ChildShaunCompanion.esp=1AA FusionCityRising.esp=1PowerArmorCollection.esp=1BodySwap.esp=1CompanionTracker.esp=1Clean and Simple - Boston Airport Startup.esp=1Schlong.esp=1MsAbominations.esp=1AnimalsandChildrenSettlers.esp=1CompanionHealThyself.esp=1AA Lots More Settlers and Enemies.esp=1AA LMSE_FarHarbor.esp=1AA FusionCityRising - HotC.esp=1AoACarsMapPack.esp=1CarAddon4.esp=1AoACars.esp=1Tank_New.esp=1FarHarborCars.esp=1NukaWorldCars.esp=1WorldCars4.esp=1CobbWaterOptions.esp=1LongerPipboyLight3x.esp=1TheLostLagoonUpdate.esp=1HoloTime.esp=1EFF.esp=1LooksMenu.esp=1CustomCamera.esp=1ATaleOfTwoTwins.esp=1CompanionWhistle.esp=1FrozenLakesandIce.esp=1NO NPC GREETINGS.esp=1Realistic Sprinting.esp=1JamesRuin.esp=1Vault4.esp=1HairClippers.esp=1FO4 NPCs Travel.esp=1TU3SD4Y'S Commonwealth Responders.esp=1BetterLowHealth.esp=1PIP-Pad.esp=1ALCHRebalance.esp=1Wet Effects.esp=1FO4 Seasons - Summer - AllDLC.esp=1USS Phoenix.esp=1GiveMeMyBottleBack.esp=1The Dragon Army.esp=1Space Raiders.esp=1A Life Torn Apart.esp=1The Hollow.esp=1JUMuskegon.esp=1The Remnants.esp=1PiperCaitCurieDialogueOverhaul.esp=1BrighterSettlementLights_ExtraBrightv1.1.esp=1301_settlement_DC.esp=1Nuka World Bottle Fix.esp=1BarefootFootstepExtended.esp=1JUBlood.esp=1G3Family.esp=1PrivateContract.esp=1FemsheppingsLastOutfitPack.esp=1AGNISNikaCola01.esp=1JUDrugQuest.esp=1move that workbench!.esp=1Homemaker - Unlocked Institute Objects.esp=1Depravity.esp=1OutcastsAndRemnants.esp=1SKKEncounterZonePlayerLevelNoResetYesRespawn.esp=1SKKMobileWorkshop.esp=1sectorv.esp=1USAF_Silo_Beta.esp=1ScrappySigns.esp=1goretown.esp=1Flashy_CrimeAndPunishment_GunForHire_Addon.esp=1FO4Hotkeys.esp=1supply shack scavenger hunt.esp=1CHAOTIC SUN.esp=1Sewer139.esp=1Fallout4FasterRespawnRate48hrs.esp=1Fallout4FasterRespawnRateCleared48hrs.esp=11ECHO.esp=1The House.esp=1Alex's Bounties.esp=1The Train.esp=1RadiumInc.esp=1Vault12.esp=1DisruptingTheMarket.esp=1Ultimate Survival Test(RailRoad).esp=1ProjectValkyrie.esp=1R&DDep.esp=1PAUC - Power Armor Underwater Combat_1.0.esp=1Workout.esp=1RPHSettlement.esp=1ThicketSettlement.esp=1FarHarborStory.esp=1cat_wildlands.esp=1WilkesEstate.esp=1Secrets of The Commonwealth.esp=1LimaOutpost.esp=1VMod-Master.esp=1the library.esp=1vault165.esp=1EastSideStory.esp=1SettleObjExpandPack.esp=1SettleObjExpandPack-AllLightShadowEnabler.esp=1atomatoysscytheprogram.esp=1The UnderPassage.esp=1AOTC.esp=1Cozy Beds.esp=1AkaWaterWorld.esp=1Covscript.esp=1RansackedRelay.esp=1Minutemen Supply Caches.esp=1BacktotheFuture.esp=13DNPC_FO4.esp=13DNPC_FO4Settler.esp=1Cannibal.esp=1Submarine Base Echo.esp=1tutorialquest.esp=1NoYouAre.esp=1mafia.esp=1AttackOnArtoria01.esp=1WelcometoGoodneighbor.esp=1Alex's Quest.esp=1Tactical Thinking.esp=1RedScare.esp=1ZombieNation2.esp=1HowTheMilkmanSavedChristmas.esp=1Egret's Secret.esp=1Concussion.esp=1TheCode.esp=1VaultTecStory.esp=1America Rising - A Tale of the Enclave.esp=1AR_DLC01.esp=1AL-TOMICWRANGLER.esp=1BringUpTheParty.esp=1The Metro.esp=1ClassicGhoulRace.esp=1CGR - AWKCR Patch.esp=1CGR - Nuka World.esp=1Reforged.esp=1Visible Idle Markers.esp=1Lore Friendly Jetpack Armor.esp=1BostonBay.esp=1Citadel of 600 Psychos.esp=1JaL.esp=1MAOC.esp=1Introduction To NRC.esp=1MBGHrobotaddon.esp=1MBHG.esp=1AtomCatsSettlement.esp=1nuka_world_settlements.esp=1NUKA_WORLD_SETTLEMENTS_DECAL_ADDON.esp=1nuka_world_settlements_no_combined.esp=1nuka_world_settlements_scrap_addon.esp=1CheatTerminal.esp=1Clear Underwater View.esp=1SettlementAttacksBeyond.esp=1No Borders.esp=1BountifulBoards.esp=1SimpleBounties.esp=1MortalYouths.esp=1Orphans.esp=1ChildrenofBunkerHill.esp=1ChildrenofGoodneighbor.esp=1Raider Children.esp=1Scrap Everything - Ultimate Edition.esp=1FS_NukaWorldTramFastTravel.esp=1Better_Settlement_Defence.esp=1Settle anywhere.esp=1SKKGlobalStashScrapping.esp=1CovenantEx.esp=1HangManEx.esp=1OberlandEx.esp=1ModdableRobotSettlers.esp=1SaveManager.esp=1AThorn_v1_11.esp=1cern.esp=1Nuclear Winter.esp=1NW_AllDLC.esp=1NW_FrozenOnes.esp=1NW_NAC.esp=1DCGuard_Overhaul.esp=1SettlementMenuManager.esp=1Working_Beehives.esp=1NAC.esp=1NAC-FH.esp=1NAC-NW.esp=1
  21. When I kill someone and I want to loot them, I press R twice to take everything. (R may be different, I might have changed it). When the dead guy has loads of stuff to collect, I get the message "are you sure you want to take all" which is very annoying in the middle of a battle, any way to remove it?
  22. I'm collecting 1000s of fragmentation mines, I'm finding a few hundred in bins everywhere. I assume a mod caused this. Which one? I don't like it. It makes the game too easy, they sell for a high price.
  23. Cut the arrogant nonsense. Have it variable then. All I want is to be able to find the nearest enemy - hey there's an idea, find the nearest 5. But I remember you're the one that can't be bothered answering questions on his own mods, so whatever.
