cliffo1992
I make a map in the game using GECK, I then test it out. I go to put a little more stuff in it and it wont let me save over it!? I then try the save what I added in and it only save what I added onto that, so everything else is empty. I tried putting both data files on at once but it still doesnt work. Is there a way to merge the 2 save files together? Thanks in advance
Cipscis
You need to specify your file as the "Active File" when loading it in order to save any changes to it. If you don't specify an Active File, any changes will be saved to a new plugin file. You could check this out if you want to merge two plugins - [WIPz] FO3Plugin Merge Utility Cipscis

Storm Raven
In a mod project, you will often find several individuals working on several parts of the mod. These parts are then merged into a master plug-in. From which a new ESP file is created. Then everyone on the project, is given, the newly created ESP containing all of the changes in all of the parts of the mod. Lather, rinse, repeat. Now the cool part here is that the "dirty references", are all cleaned out at one time, each time, the process is performed. If you are interested in the details of how this operation is performed, feel free to PM me. If you can reference this topic, I would appreciate it.
