boohoomoo
Definitely turn Real-Time Shadows off. The game chugged a bit on my Athlon XP 2000 system (w/ 512MB DDR PC2700 and 128MB Radeon 9000) until I turned them off. I've also had less crashes. Turning off Anti-Aliasing on your video card will help a lot too, but then objects and buildings won't look as good.

Danforth
ok i am downloading new driver now, this is getting kind of annoying but i will persevere but all i want to do is play Morrowind, why is this happening to me! :(
SothThe69th
Another thing to do is read through this, further, we never did get your system specs, what OS are you running? How much RAM? Whats your CPU speed? What kind of sound card are you running?
Jinn-Roh
Ok. I had some problems with morrowind when i first got it too. found out i didnt have enough ram. beefed it up from 96mb to 352mb. Tried it and it didnt work. Also had an 8mb video card. that needed to be upgraded. Ive got a 64mb card now. cpu was at 566MHz. Got the same cpu, but its running at 800+MHz now. So check your RAM, video card, and cpu speed. Could quite possibly be your hardware.
