Lethargio
I began to realize last time I played morrowind that a character with anything at level 100 is godly in that ability. Thus, I realized the stupidity of level unappers. While I was pondering this an idea hit me. We all lnow that it's a pain in the ass starting out in morrowind, can't do much. When a character hit level thirty and above, they become unbeatable. Further, this takes away from the game, especially when we fight dagoth ur. Face it, the guy is a weakling for a final boss. How do we solve this problem of level imabalance? Here's what I suggest:1 - The player only gets 3 total statpoints per level2 - the player stars at level 50But that's just annoying for a beginnning player. So:3 - you level up every 3 Skill points4 - the player talks to an NPC deciding what skills he/she favors. and minor skills are limited to 75 proficiency and misc skills are limited to level 50 (i dont know how to accomplish this though) What this does:Makes starting less irritating, and keeps the player from becoming too powerful.Where normally you could have 600 statpoints, now you can only have 450, you must budget your abilities.Adds replay value, you can not create an Uber caharacter. Slaiv
So what exactly are you suggesting? That someone make a mod that does what you have stated? Or are you just ranting?
Lethargio
I want to know what people think, I'll make the mod, but I'd like to work out any problems with the idea first. Then there's also the chance that it's already been done.
