Bodyslide and Barbarians and I'm so confused.

I'm new to Bodyslide and I'm having a hecka time with this. I'm trying to build this Barbarian Set mod, which is based on BHUNP, and...it's not working. It's a disaster.

 

1. Do I need to have the BHUNP body installed to use this?

2. Can I use the UNP body, instead?

3. Does the BHUNP body have a UV layout based on vanilla or based on CBBE? (The mod says it needs the textures from the CBBE version). After doing some reading, if I understand correctly, yes, the UNP and BHUNP have the same UV layout.

4. Any ideas what went wrong?

If the mod tell you BHUNP (the mod autor said obviously), then ... nothing else.

This happened while the BHUNP body was installed. I need to know what went wrong and how to fix it, please.

Yes. If you want to use BHUNP clothing/armor, you want to be operating with BHUNP body assets.

 

Presuming you have all the dependencies installed, and presuming your fitted your armor in Bodyslide, I'd suspect the Bodyslide preset isn't actually a BHUNP Bodyslide preset and therefore isn't providing the correct listing of slider values for properly supporting the BHUNP body.

 

But that's just a guess.

Well, it turned out I needed to install the XP32 skeleton but now the skirts of the armors are stretching into the ground. I'm sure it has something to do with the weight paint/bone assignments as I see it all the time in Sims 4 creations. I could fix it if it were a Sims 4 item but for Skyrim SE? No clue.
