Miki990 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 (edited) Hello everyone! I got a slight problem, as the title states. I have a few mods going, from Skyre to immersive armors to immersive weapons, etc. I also have ReProccer and the Balbor and Steelsoul ReProccer. Now, I'm not sure if this is because there is a conflict between the mods or if its just something that is happening withing Skyrim. I am using one of the weapons from the immersive weapons and the damage on it continuously changes. I think its every time I sheath it the damage would change from 65 to 62, to 64. I've seen this happen many times to other weapons like bows, etc. I do not understand if its a conflict or if its just Skyrim. If this is a conflict between the mods, are there any kind of steps I could take to make sure the mods are not conflicting? I used BOSS already. I'm not new to moding Skyrim, I'm new to this problem. Before, I would have Skyrim crashing every 10-30 minutes and then out of nowhere the game would just stabilize on its own, this time, I'm not getting crashes just the random weapon damage. Thank you for your help! Edited September 6, 2013 by Miki990
Hypermouse1mil Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 BOSS only places your mods in a general load order that gives the least chance of causing crashes. If there are any conflicts that cause weapon damage change you will most likely find them in the mod description. Check your mod list and read the weapon compatibility section that each mod author provides. the mods your using alter the same base data ( such as 2 mods that alter weather for example) you will get this sort of strange results or even worse.....CTD's. If i'm not mistaken Skyre requires a specific type of mod to function correctly, i would also read up on each mod site to make sure your using the correct version required. I had a similar issue when i was running two lighting mods at the same time and it took me hours to fix something that i would have avoided in the first place had i simply read the incompatibilities list. Also, in each mod description they might require you to use other mods or patches from other sites to run correctly. If you find that all your downloads are all in correct order than it might be a mod that didn't uninstall all the way, its rare but it does happen. Check Program, Program files(86), steam, steam apps, common, skyrim. If there's a mod in that list that you uninstalled but there are still active files present then you might have found the problem. Good luck.
