dimon99
Not sure if it's a right forum, but I couldn't find any better. Question is: Is it possible to organize uploaded files by name, so main and required files are on top of the list and options and addons on the bottom? I am not able to shuffle files at any way-and they change order every update, makes things kinda messy. Mod is on FO3Nexus if it matters. buddah
The current system allows you to set the top file only by selecting it as the primary. Buddah

People will need to read description and pay attention then - RTFM-all of it  Thanks for reply! dimon
LHammonds
The person doing the uploading can easily make a mess of things but with a bit of planning and organizing, you can make it fairly easy to understand what each file is for. I make use of the filename and description together so it is fairly obvious what is needed by using keywords such as REQUIRED, OPTIONAL, ALTERNATE, OBSOLETE, etc. Once the file descriptions were made available, my support questions for Lost Paladins of the Divines dried up. Take a look at the "Files" tab for the following mods to see what I mean: Apophis: Armory of the Silver Dragon (6 files)Blender (15 files)Ghogiels Armor (6 files)GIMP (4 files]Lost Paladins of the Divines (12 files) LHammonds

Yeah, yours are all nicely organized-but all your optional files are where they supposed to be-down in the list. Unlike mine - very optional uncompressed normal map for one of textures variants is near the top, while textures itself are in the bottom. And I have 3 variants of body textures, and 2 variants of face textures, which should stay as separate optional files for obvious reasons. Of cource all optional files marked as optional, but few days after initial upload people d/loaded that uncompressed normal map TWICE the times then textures itself,LOL. And problem is that I update still - files shuffle in a weird manner each time. It is a bit better now-I merged some files and everything is clearly marked when it's an option or addon. But required files....what body texture to mark as required? All 3 ? Gonna be even worse then. Of course the fact that I just suck at organizing things doesn't help either...and 1 more texture is coming, hehe. Gonna try to put better short descriptions. On a bright side, while looking at your files-got myself checker maps for Blender ;) Thanks, dimon
Ismelda
I just noticed that the Video page on the description was ordering itself in Alphabetical (possibly numerical order too?) order. Having this for the files tab would be nice :) You can set the primary then all the rest orders itself alpha-numerically. Only a suggestion :) I guess today update for the files management definitely improve things and make it clear whether the files are requires or optional. Thanks for this new feature Dark0ne :)
