AncientSpaceAeon
Yes, this is the place where you can ask someone to help with your mods. Maybe you don't know what mod you are going to do, or maybe you are stuck in somepart, maybe your mod that is posted on TES Nexus have problems. Just start a chat here, anyone can chat here. From an amateur modder, an advanced modder, a good modder (like me), an expert modder, or maybe an proffesional modder can get help here. You can either help or helped. General tips - You can have inspiration not only from the game or other mods, you can take it from movies, stories, and other sources. - Start with the basic, like a quest to own a house, to a quest to save a faction, until to save the world. - Don't get too optimistic, start a quest with one questline. - Basic quests to get basic rewards is the simplest type of quest. A new real estate also one of the simplest type of mod. The heavily scripted quest mod is the most complex type. New meshes, textures, lands is not that complex, but need some skills, and a lot of patience, and passion. - Start from the start, one by one. Don't you make the exterior world of a huge city that have more than fifty building. When you are going to create the interiors, well you will most likely to be confused. I suggest creating it part by part, district by district. - What makes a good quest is a good story. A common criminal steal a diary and hide it in a cave just boring. You can post more tips, and you can ask questions here, maybe I won't answer it, but maybe someone else will.

ihateregisteringeverywhere
Simple, you don't, in difference to morowind, oblivion doesn't have that feature. You could however create a script that would make the trade menu come up if you "talk" to the crab. Someone else can hopefully give a better explanation. Arcelas
Ahh. Ive found you! Now if I can just remember... Oh right, So I want to take some guys armor mod and tweak it in CS to make it enchanted. Can I do that?If so how?If not...*Cries into his pillow*Thanks!
Palpenious
If you don't mind changing the whole mod itself, just set it as the active file and find the armor you want enchanted, then save.If you want to add it to an original mod of your own, copy the files into a unique folder you make, usually with your initials or something so you know where it is, then make a whole new armor in the CS, you can set whatever stats you want, make it weigh 1000 pounds, be worth a million bucks, etc. If you mean where can you get enchantments from, it is in the menu on the top of the main part of the CS, where you click the disk icon to save. Hope that helps, good luck. My question is, I have a sword that is showing no texture in the menu, but in-game it looks perfectly fine. The only thing I've done differently with it is make the hilt and blade two separate meshes, but I don't think that should change anything. Am I just overlooking something obvious? AncientSpaceAeon
um how can i make like a mud crab sell stuff. Well, you can make a NPC using a mudcrab model, or create an armor with shape exactly like a mudcrab, and make a regular NPC wear it. (It's hard !) AncientSpaceAeon
Remember, you can do anything with this topic. You can ask for help, you can help someone else, you can promote your mod. If you have a really good mod but no one is downloading, you can tell them here. And, tell your friends about this "modding heaven". "May Tamriel rises to her glory once again." And please, this is not for newbie or something, if you a professional, you can teach others and maybe get help from them. Don't be shy to post even the most stupid question like : "How I put an object to the render window ?". (I figure that out after six months !.) And now I already start creating a real mod !. It's called Flamebreath Order Visit here : http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22584 For undertaker 222 : You can make an NPC wearing a mudcrab shaped armor. Arcelas
This a kinda a double post, it was a topic in some other forum heading. Don't ban me!!Anyway, i need help with character creation. I can make very decent-looking ladies, but they all look like they are in their 20's. for a comic book/strip I'm working on I need a younger-looking girl (late teens). If anyone has mastered the teenage-girl-making-in-oblivion, please help me. Thanks!
