  1. Interesting enough to make me post! Ancient Aeon
  2. Dr.Web Cure It! They have a completely free simple antivirus. In my opinion, it's even better than the ones you have to pay for. But to be honest, my greatest defense is Ubuntu. Nothing can harm my computer there.
  3. Yes, I know that, but isn't that against the point of visiting a message board? I can understand if they're people who are simply searching information about Skyrim, but this is already happening before that. I wonder why.
  4. I don't think this is a topic worth having a topic, but it just bugs me for so long, I had to ask it. When I was writing this, The Nexus Forums home page states that there are 400 active users in the past 15 minutes. Out of the 400, only 58 are members, the rest are guests. I'm really curious how could that be true. Also, are the active users stated only active on this forum, or some of the names stated are active on TESNexus/Fallout3Nexus/SkyrimNexus? Thanks!
  5. I've made this kind of forum game a long time ago, and I decided to make a new one. The game is simple, you choose between the two choices the last poster has given, then you continue the story based on your choice, then give two choices for the next poster to choose. I really wish my English is better. I'll just give you an example. Attention people! This is a forum game, there are rules! I don't have any ideas for the story  . Maybe one of you can help start the game. A little discussion first would be good. Try to find an interesting theme, we don't want this game to fail.
  6. Not 100% accurate, but maybe 70-80%. Great test!
  7. And ... I don't even know what the movie was about. http://images.similarminds.com/movie/1.jpg
  8. Oh come on, people! You're only seeing what you want to see! - Random Soldier #2
  9. I think with enough effort, an interest, and determination, anyone can make a good mod. You could basically start from the absolute zero, and make a great mod two months after. Especially when there are sites like these. Being good at the technical aspect is what anyone can do, again, with enough effort. http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Main_Page Quentin Tarantino once said, "When people ask me if I went to film school I tell them, "No, I went to films.'" On the artistic/creative aspect however, there's no college or school for that. You want to be good at making mods (which basically mean adding/changing sometime to a game), you should play more games or game mods. You need to find what make those games/mods great, what makes it a great experience. Whether it's the pacing, difficulty, atmosphere, even it's soundtrack. If you want to make a quest/story driven mod, you'd have to watch a lot of movies. The IMDb top 250 is a good reference for good movies, something absolutely vital if you want to make a story driven mod. But even if you don't, you probably still get some creative ideas. http://www.imdb.com/chart/top The Extra Credits series is a good reference about making a good game experience. But I can't seem to find their old videos with Escapist anywhere now. Too bad. And tvtropes is a good site for, well, everything related to art. Check everything you ever watched (movies, live action television, animations) or played (video games). The ones that you liked of course. You should get interesting read. http://tvtropes.org/ http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RolePlayingGame
  10. Level 17. Messed up at level 12. Sometimes the lag helps, sometimes it's a game breaker.
  11. "You can't direct the wind, but you can adjust your sails." "The wisest men follow their own direction." "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts." "And them that take the sword shall perish by the sword." "You can get more of what you want with a kind word and a gun than you can with just a kind word." "The whole is more than the sum of its parts." "Nothing travels faster than the speed of light with the possible exception of bad news, which obeys its own special laws." "A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away."
  12. "It's really hard to decide between what you think is right, and what other people think is right." Me.
  13. I actually visit the Nexus at least once every two days. Somebody really need to start an interesting topic, like this one.
  14. Ouch. That's cold. At first, well, I don't even know why someone could start a thread like this in the Debates section. What is it to debate about love? The first post doesn't seem to invoke a debate at all. It's Marharth's first post. I'm not saying that it's bad to debate it, just, well, something. I didn't read the previous >100 posts, but I'm sure that love is bigger than just a biological emotion. I don't think science could explain much about love, there is no pattern or anything. I don't think there's even a thing to explain, the concept couldn't be simpler. Like on almost every debate that I participated, I'll ask this question. So, Marharth, what if you're absolutely right about everything? What? Should we now change our perception on love, and start treating it more "scientifically?"
  15. Hmm ... the last election held by my country had 44 political parties participating. Only 9 actually got a seat on the council. Only 75% of the people chose one of the 9 parties. The party who got the largest number of votes got 20.85%, while the smallest 3.77%. Sad, huh? My opinion? Large political parties are good, just not too large or too small. Until we invent a better form of government, we have to stick with them.
  16. Still waiting for Skyrim. Still waiting for Skyrim. Still waiting for Skyrim. Still waiting for Skyrim. Oh wait, I got nothing to run it. Still waiting for a PS3. Still waiting for a PS3. Still waiting for a PS3. Still waiting for a PS3.

It's a video sharing site, mostly for short films. Brilliant short films. Some of their best videos there: Know anymore sites? Share them here!
  18. For some reason, I can't stand the smell. But delicious? Sure.
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fV7hfS0vFCQ The camera work and cinematography could have been better, though. But still awesome
  20. What really confuses me is what he was trying to do. Was he trying to make people make the Muslims out of his country? (If you do not comply there shall be more killings!) But he was arrested. Was he hoping someone would be inspired by his actions? Then why did he kill the non-Muslims? My country's news channel rarely reports on this, so can somebody summarize what's going on?
  21. I spend way too much time on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30a2dpHS_TU
  22. Hitler amazingly got away from more than 40 perfectly planned assassination attempts. Maybe most of them are time travelers?
  23. And the suspect behind it claimed that he used Modern Warfare 2 for training. http://attackofthefanboy.com/news/suspect-behind-norwegian-attacks-claims-he-used-modern-warfare-2-for-training/  First the Christians and now the gamers.
  24. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7duP4d9ZziY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74BzSTQCl_c Everything else I could think of is filled with heavy spoilers. Some even take place on the ending.
