problem with the 1080p monitor

Hi everyone, i bought fullhd monitor(old monitor was 17inch) to my gtx 560 ti, i thougt it'll be comfortable but it was so laggy i've got 18-20 fps, before was 35-45 fps (with enb), so i decided buy some videocard, which one is better GTX660ti,gtx760 or gtx770? but i think i prefer 660 ti it's just cheaper for me. So how do i need to do to get 60-40 fps?

My spec: Core i5 3470 3.6, 8Gb ram, MB GA H77, Gtx 560 ti 1gb 256bit.

The monitor is irrelevant, it has no effect on your frame rate. As for GPUs, what is your budget? 60-40 FPS in what?

when i'm playing with my older monitor (17inch) it's very smooth and with the 1080 i have bottleneck, sometimes even unplayable.

My budget is around 300-400$ for vcard, and how about 660 ti? i'm wondering there's not so much difference between 660 and 760.

ENB is not well optimized. It will not run well at high resolutions, unless you get such a strong video card it's overkill.

 

A GTX 660 TI is almost identical to my GTX 660 GC, and I wouldn't trust it to keep high performance with an ENB.

A GTX 760 is similar in performance to a GTX 670, so it's easily worth the cost increase from a 660, imo.

I think you talking about default resolution (1366x768 to 1920x1080) and yes it will lag but not that much, also you didnt mention which game is lagging btw I have a 560 ti on a dual core as well as 1080 maxed out setting and average fps is 35

Edit:

try turning of SSAO in enb or set the filter = 0 and quality = 2 in ini

If you want to be really pedantic about it, the resolution change influences FPS with older cards, but it shouldn't tank that much for sure.

A 670 is a bit faster than the 760, a 770 is a rebranded 680, I'd recommend getting a 7950/7970 due the the low price on them and great performance, if you wish to stick with NVIDIA I'd say get a 670 or 680/770.
