Ok, fine, I'm contradicting myself. The pinned topic is completely wrong, since Bethesda could easily stop working on TESIV to rewrite Morrowind's game engine to include multiplayer. Unfortunately, it isn't going to happen, so we're left with it as impossible. There's no way they're going to do that, especially since they removed all the existing network code when they made Morrowind. All that's left are third party additions that stubbornly try to prove the "no multiplayer" rule wrong, regardless of how terrible their gameplay.
