Concerning the hardcore needs:

You might consider allowing alternatives for Android like Cyborg (e.g. GITS) and Bioroid (e.g. Appleseed), these are either part mechanical/biological or enhanced biological. They still require food (possibly synthetic), water and sleep to function (more or less). You could still combine these with hardcore needs and being more consistent.

btw Gynoid is sometimes used as an alternative for Android if the droid is female, more so if female features are added for aesthetic or functional reasons.

As a side note: because Gynoid isn't a popular OS for mobile devices, it's much easier finding content related to those metallic beauties using Gynoid in you search instead of Android I just noticed ;-).

I notice no one who's applied to this thread for a long time, so I feel it'd be wrong to reply here, but I have a small question about the perks and traits of this mod. I can't find the answer anywhere! Do these perks affect skill requirements for other perks? I'm hoping anyone who's used this mod longer then I will know this.

Future Edit: Well, this post was a waste of a bump. Sorry. I already found out that they do. With 4 perception and Overclocked I can unlock "Friend of the Night" at level 2.

This comes up periodically. It was yanked from Nexus by the author. Supposedly it is going to be included in a larger mod that has not been released. Nexus policy prohibits attempts to post links to unauthorized ("pirate") copies elsewhere, so don't ask.

i'm sorry for the necro but what pirate copy are you referring to. was he trying to be *** and posted links to pirated copies of the game or something else?

The author of DoA was not banned as far as I know. He decided for his own reasons to pull the mod. (All of this was I before joined the forum, so I don't know details. I'm sure a diligent enough search will turn them up, but it won't change matters.)

Another thread was locked by the moderators because someone tried to post a link to an unauthorized copy hosted elsewhere. In that case the link was from their previously downloaded copy that they put up on another file hosting site. THAT was the "pirate link". If the mod author does not give permission to post copies, then it is not legal. All rights belong to the mod author, including the right to post anywhere. Only if they explicitly say otherwise are you allowed to do so, and only to the extent they authorize. It may be frustrating to people who want the mod, but that is the author's right.
