Shaodeus
Yeah I would like to play Honest Hearts with a Tribal that isn't linked to the Zion tribes
scissorhands
I'm not 100% on this since i'm not a modder, but my understanding is that since the stuff from Point Lookout is made by bethesda, you can't use their content in a mod without their permission (which they aren't going to grant anytime soon). This means if you want swampfolk in FNV, you'll need to make them from scratch. It shouldn't be too bad though, seeing as they're human. At first I thought you meant the swampfolk. Shaodeus
No obviously you can't post it, well you can post an esp of the mod. But you can extract the textures and the meshes from your Fallout 3 folder, there are plenty of popular fallout 3 import mods that do this. As stated by scissorhands, unless those assets were already part of FNV's ingame files or created by 3rd party modders for F03 but with permissions that allows others to port those assets to FNV, I highly doubt that there are any popular mods here on FNV Nexus that uses assets that are unique to F03. In any case, for personal use only, there are plenty of tutorials or posts throughout the forum on how to bring multiple races, faces, items, or armors from F03 to FNV. Just search for them. Also note that the faces/races may not look the same due to the slightly different way FNV and F03 renders faces. I remember a few modders having trouble getting their F03 characters to look the same as their FNV versions. Shaodeus
No the textures and meshes aren't included in those mods, you have to import them using FOMM from your Fallout 3 Data folder
apixaez
I'll give you the watered down version as I don't have F3 or the DLC's installed atm: Open up the Point Lookout.bsa with FOMMExtract the textures for your tribals (and meshes if applicable, they're probably in something like meshes\characters\ and textures\characters\ and put them in your FNV\Data\ folder while keeping the same folder structure)Load up GECKGo to RaceClick on a race (like Caucasian), edit it (Make sure playable is ticked)If you go to body data, edit those to point to the textures you extracted (I think the models are the same, so you don't have to edit the right column)Go to Face Data, edit right column (textures) to point to your tribal textures.Give it a different name @ Text Data Save your .esp and tick it in FOMMLoad up your game, type "showracemenu" in console And that should be about it really.. Shaodeus
Thank you very much, it works. The only problem I have is that the hands have a different colour then the body.
