1two3four
My Idea is this, and I'm sorry if something similar has been posted. Ok, this comes from D&D (books really, the Drizzt Do'Urden series to be exact). Add summonable mounts in the form of small statues that you can activate. Different effects for the different mounts. Say if its like the Nightmare that Jarlaxle or Artemis Entreri uses, they'll come out in a burst of flame. (For added awesome have them sprinting when they spawn so they run through the explosion of fire, right past you waiting to be mounted.) There could also be companions done this way. Again, referencing the Drizzt books, have small statues that can summon animals and undead creatures to your side for a certain amount of time, or until they're destroyed. For this example I'll use Guenwyhvar, Drizzt's astral panther. He has a small black statue in the shape of the panther that he sets on the ground, and Guenwyhvar starts forming from smoke. For added effect it can be made (this I guess could be an optional version) to where they have a cool down of 'x' hours/days before they could be summoned again (so that can rest and regain their strength.) Keeping on a similar subject that this made me think of, was Jarlaxle's hat. He has it topped with a Diatrama (sp?) feather, which he can use to summon a giant flightless bird (I've always imagined them like ostriches, though I'm sure they've made an appearance in some D&D game.) But this wasn't brought up because I want an ostrich, I was just thinking that some armor pieces could be added in as unique items (since enchanting a summon creature spell onto a piece of armor seems more difficult) that can be activated (I guess when the items are equipped have them give you a power that could could then assign to summon them. Anyways, this is my first request, sorry if there was a format I was supposed to follow.
NinjaWarriorPoet
I could also see it as a Bound Horse spell, or Bound Chocobo, if that's what you like.
1two3four
The main part that I'd want is for it to be bound to the items. Sure, a spell is cool and all, but what if someone wants to role play a character that doesn't use magic (except on equipment, and in this case, magical items). I do realize however that what I'm asking for requires a lot of work, including making new textures, possible new meshes, and new animations, but its something that I feel is missing.
