SO, all the lovely facts first: PC Spec:OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bitMotherboard: Gigabyte P67A-UD4-B3CPU: Intel i7-2600k, 3.4GHzRAM: 20gb DDR3GFX: Geforce GTX 660 How I mod FO3I use Fallout Mod Manager (0.13.21)I installed everything using Package managerI have enabled Archive InvalidationSo what exactly happens Mr. Sp34k?Well you see, I choose the alternative start but after about 15-20 seconds my game simply freezes. So how do you start the game?I have FOSE (Fallout script extender) installed in the root dir. of Fallout 3. But I usually just use "FOSE" from the Mod manager. Have you done any research, Mr.?Yes I have. Did you do the change to the Fallout.ini to limit your CPU to two cores? But I disabled UAC checks using FOMM (settings -> Options -> Disable UAC checks).And yes I have just installed the Large Address Aware which did not seem to work. I can run around in the shack for about a few seconds untill it freezes. Am I required to create a new game everytime I make changes, or can I simply continue? I haven't progressed out of the starting shack/house. Also, I have disabled:Marts Mutant Mod - Tougher Traders, Natural selection and Master Menu Module as they are already included in the Wanderer Edition (I read this online), enabling these 3 makes the game freeze instantly. During my research, I wasn't able to find any informations about crash reports. EDIT:Im doing a complete reinstall of FO3 and everything else. An update and progress will be posted. I haven't progressed out of the starting shack/house." Yes and no. Sometimes. Maybe. It depends on the changes that were made or the mod added. When adding mods, you need to read the description, read me or the posted mod comments.They will usually tell you whether or not you need to start a new game. Other changes, usually not. Fallout 32. Wanderers Edition + Hotfix3. FOIP: 3a. EVE and FWE 3b. Marts Mutant Mod and FWE 3c. Project Beauty and FWE 3d. Weapons Mod Kits and FWE4. Extracted Fose to the fallout 3 main directory5. For installing FWE, read these instructions and install in the order as instructed: https://sites.google.com/site/fo3wanderersedition/installationWith DarNUI, did you follow the link on the FWE page? You need version Alpha 11. You cannot install the 3GB Enabler or FOSE with FOMM, it is done manually. You also have too many MMM plugins. I don't use MMM, so I don't know which ones you can deactivate and delete.You should also run the vanilla game until just before you leave the vault exit for the Wasteland, make a hard save, exit the vault and make another save. Is it possible to change the Topic's title to [solved]? Update 3:I did a total reinstall again, this time I had more success. What I did different this time:I had all the WeaponModits except the WeaponModKits.esp so I downloaded that.I then installed DarnUI Support for FWE 6-02 from FWE's nexus pageMy menu and cursor disappeared so I installed Unofficial EVE compatibility patch for FOIPNow I can launch Fallout 3 perfectly and I can start a new game - problem is, the game freezes when I choose my character name. Update 2:It all seemed to fail - yet again. It is getting rather frustrating. Could anyone help me in details:In what order I should install my modsExactly from which URL/website should I download the mods?And what load order I should follow I have done everything completly as suggested on the FWE page, I literally did everything from the top to the bottom - yet my game still continues to crash. Update 1:Apparently everything is broken. Disabling ALL mods still doesn't solve the instant crash on startup. I have never encountered so many difficulties installing a mod as FWE.I will try, yet again - a fresh installment. ____ The reason Fallout3.esm is on #1 is due to a mistaken lineshift in the editor. I did use the DarNUI as provided from FWE page. I installed Alpha 11 and the hotfix.My mistake, 3GB enabler and FOSE was not installed with FOMM, it was done manually. The MMM plugins were included in the file I downloaded when searching for it. Do you use MMM at all? If you do, which one do you have active?
