Rads vs NPCs

I don't think they do.

While in the GECK, I made a weapon add 1000(rads) over 1 second(Not damage based on radresist, just pure rads) and tested by shooting some NPCs multiple times.

These were (non-irradiated)Humans(ie not ghouls), and the most they did was say "Hey, watch it!" as they walked around Megaton.

Anyone else with anything supporting the latter? I would really like to know.... Don't know why, but it seems of import to me.

I don't think NPCs can be affected by rads, Confessor Cromwell is a shining example of that

I'm not saying you're wrong, but he could have rad-x and/or rad-away that he doesn't drop if you kill him, much like some other female NPC who has a Silenced 10mm Pistol that doesn't drop when she's killed. Can't remember her name....

Of course, by saying that, I'm opening it up to people saying every NPC I've tried this on has tons of rad-away and/or rad-x and just doesn't drop it on death.

I wish they were affected by rads.... Kinda bullcrappish of them to make only one person in all the wasteland be affected by rads, especially when it's you....

I think I remember seeing an NPC, a random raider or wastelander, think it wise to swim out into the water and then die from rad poisoning.... but I could be wrong.

Can someone familiar with GECK look at the stats of the various factions and/or companions and see if there are rad-resistance numbers?
