To apply the edit to whichever theme you use, you must go into vortex settings, click the edit css manually button and add this code to the bottom of the file.

#more-mods-container {
    transform: scale(0%);
}

This should scale the element down to zero and should pretty much solve the issue.

go to settings then theme, towards the bottom quarter of the screen in small font, it says "Edit CSS manually".....not very intuituve, IMHO it needs to be in a semi-transparent bar that can't be removed and is right in the way!!! ;)

Minor gripe is that Vortex chooses VS as the editor. Not the way I edit CSS. But I overcame that.

 

Vortex doesn't choose the editor, it just tells the OS to open the editor associated with scss files.

 

 

Thanks for that reply. Means I have my default set wrong.

And I have nothing against VS - it is just heavy and takes forever to start. Notepad++ is a lot snappier.
