Hashwagon
I think a great mod would be an alternative to your character dying. Your characters death in the game is not immersive in the least bit and actually doesn't punish you anymore than just reloading the last saved game. So we should be punished in an immersive way for "Dying" and I think there a multiple ways this could be accomplished. Lets say you get knocked out in battle,.. think Aragorn in LotR when he and his horse take a dive off a cliff, he wakes up later on the shore of the river. Say you get knocked out by a group of bandits, in this case you could be tied up or locked in a prison cell with little challenges that you have to complete to escape, like finding a lock pick or breaking free. Also, you could be left at a random place outdoors stranded with little to no items. There could be chances that your equipment could go missing if you were attacked by humanoids. When you regain consciousness your character may have any of the following depending on your death conditions or environment:Chance of losing gearChance of losing weaponsChance of losing goldChance of being temporarily crippledChance of being diseased Now this idea has been partially implemented before right here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29312/?, but I think this can be greatly expanded upon. Let me know what you guys think.
Shadeybladey
I like this idea. It's basically, "No More Death and Reload". More like "Death and Wake Up Somewhere Else with Precious Items Missing" I do find being launched into orbit by a giant never gets old - makes me laugh every time. But you should wake up with at least a broken leg, if not a neck. Or every bone in your body shattered. Maybe wake up in a Temple Infirmary in plaster head to toe, no gear, having been brought in by a friendly Ranger. ~.~
Deleted1662706User
Doesn't SkyTweak do this? I'm sure I saw it in the settings. Yes, I'm certain.
