Lapogo
Does anyone here know how to completely change NPC equipments and make them use mod gear? Cause I tried to understand it and test it after I tweaked the leveled items list in the GECK but it doesnt work. Like example I would like to add the Pulse Rifle to Brotherhood Soldiers roaming the D.C. wastes, or making the Enclave troopers wear the original Fallout 2 Advanced Power Armor. :( Anyone know a quick solution to it or just direct me to a link about this if ever someone already asked about this in the past for any tutorial regarding this. - thanks

Cipscis
You don't necessarily need to worry about data file isolation/de-isolation if all you want to do is change the inventory of an actor that originates from a master file (like Fallout3.esm). You could just add a change to their inventory in the plugin file that introduces the custom equipment. Alternately, and possible preferable, you could create a new plugin file, de-isolate it from the plugin file that contains the custom equipment, and edit the inventory of the actor(s) that you want to use the custom equipment. Changing the inventory of an actor isn't difficult - just open up the Inventory tab in the NPC window, right-click on the section of the window containing their inventory, and select "new". You can now select the item, count and health for a new inventory item. You might also want to read up on Levelled Items, as they are very useful when populating inventories.
