phoneyLogic
ok, there could be a folder called "textures" and a folder called "mashes" and a file sth with *.esp ending in the downloaded package. this has to be placed into the game data folder -> there is only one.you`ll find the game-resources in there. -> files like: Fallout - Textures.bsa,Fallout - Sound.bsa,Fallout - Meshes.bsaand so on are in there. Look into your game dir and copy the modstuff into the data folder, there you find this files. Please do not try to move ore change the *.bsa files (all other "data" folders schould be too much)
IceDragon987
If the problem hasn't been resolved here is my take:Download Archive Invalidate Validated form FO3Nexus, just look at the Top 50 for it. Use the program version. (I will use my directory as a guide -yours will be different)go to F\Fast Program Files\Fallout 3\Data. It should contain .BSA files and 2-3 folders with .BSA files and related inside. Any mod you wish to isntall should have one or more of the following: Meshes, Textures, Menu, Sound, SomeName.ESP, SomeName.ESM, SomeNamesReadme.txt(pdf, html, etc.). All of these go into the Data folder. If you have any extra Data folders inside the Main Data folder then just cut the files in side the sub-Data folder into the Main and delete the sub. If you have any problems send a PM.

Smosh
ok people i just dont get it..... i give up .. screw you fallout 3 :verymad: My first guess is that you aren't unzipping the file. If you have unzipped the file you'll end up with a folder called Gas Mask by SirSmokeALot Open this folder and inside there will be another folder called Data Copy this and paste it into your main Fallout 3 directory. The mod will now show in FOMM or the Fallout 3 launcher.
