I've somehow managed to limit the items that a mannequin can take to be less than 10, i believe this caused by me removing the DX "All in one" CBBE and used each armours individual file instead. I did this because some mods wouldn't pick up the existence of the DX armours. Long story short, I have a room which has 36 mannequins in it and my aim was to put all the DX armours on each one as I found the book as kind of a museum so to speak. This was working well until I did the mod swap, I can't remember how far back it was and I really don't want to start again. ok, an example. I'd already found "Celes Rogue" manual and placed that armour on a mannequin - this has 8 pieces When I returned to my castle all the armour had gone (as with all the ones I'd found)I created a new set of Celes Rogue items however the Mannequin will only accept 2 items (10 - 8 original) so it's like the first 8 are still there but they're not. if I use "More Informative Console" it only shows 2 items equipped and 2 items in inventory I've tried "RecycleActor" and "RemoveAllItems" but it won't accept more than 2 items. i then tried both commands with 1 item equipped, this now means that same mannequin now can only accept 1 item.If I take all 8 celes items to another mannequin that I've not used yet then all 8 items can be placed on it. Any ideas on how I can "reset" the mannequins back to allowing me place 10 items on it. IsharaMeradin Posted February 28, 2022 Share Posted February 28, 2022 You removed the mod containing the armors while the mannequin was still wearing them. Papyrus is getting confused. The game knows that the items are gone but Papyrus sees that they should be there but then realizes there is nothing there to unequip when wanting to give a replacement item. Unfortunately it is crapping out and not emptying the storage variable as it probably should. You could try "cleaning" that mannequin's script instance from the save file. But don't ask me the best way to do that. I would personally recommend starting over as who knows what else could have gotten screwed up by switching mods mid-game. Curious as to what your current source is for the MannequinActivatorScript.PEX file. Is it base game or provided by a mod? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've searched both the base game folder and the mods folder in Mod Organiser and that file doesn't exist anywhere. So i'm guessing it's still using the base game system to control what is and is not on the mannequin. I've run through my mod list and these are the only ones I have that control the mannequins - Mannequin Movement Fix- Mannequins Revamped (shows as Mannequin Chicks when installed) I'll restart, gives me a chance to spruce up my mods beforehand.
