MalakieUSN
Hi all, Is there a limit to how many mods we can use in Fallout 3? If so, is there anyway around this and why is there a limit? There are many great mods I would like to use but at least right now I cannot because once I go over a certain number, any past that number crashes F3. Skotte
the ESM/ESP limit is 255 explanation can be found >here< crashes can be from quite a few reasons. At what point do you have problems? (how many mods loaded)

At what point do you have problems? (how many mods loaded) Hi actually no crashes right now since I simply turned off some mods until it ran. But no matter what I do or what mods I run, once I get to a certain number of them installed and activated, the game crashes. remove one from that number, it runs. I will check the link you posted.. If there is some kind of limit, well.. not that would suck.
muppetsoup
I have a similary issue, but instead of crashing, the game just doesn't load some modded meshes and/or textures. Like you, if I uncheck any loaded mod, all is well. For me the max # seems to be around 100 when this problem occurs. I have not actually counted yet.
