O.A.R Companions (Sarah and Haylen) teleporting with every fast travel or elevator

I know this is sort of a vanilla bug, since it happened with robots, but the companions with O.A.R don't use the vanilla companion system. After dismissing them, 2 of them keep teleporting to me every time I use the institute teleporter, or even some elevators. (Strangely, not virtibird fast travel.)

 

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Okay, I figured out that the alternate system they use had bugged, so I hired and fired them as companions, and they stopped stalking me.

I have a similar bug with Mary Jane, perhaps sending her home then taking her back will end it.
