JadeTora
v.v It is still doing it. I even got Shivering Isles and tried installing that patch.. It works fine until I install the patch, then it does this every time on both the normal 1.2 Patch and the Shivering Isles 1.2 Patch. The weird thing is until I typed ~ SexChange after selecting the NPC in world the game worked fine with the patch. It seems like whatever happened when I entered that command in the console is sticking with it through uninstalls and re installs. Please help. :(

Qwaxalot
Can anyone help me? Please.. When you did the uninstall & reinstall, did you try to reuse your old saves? If so that is probably what caused the problem. Additionally if you "moved" your save files, in order to preserve them, Oblivion will still "see" them (thank you Vista) If you want to try to save them, AGAIN, COPY them to some new folder that is NOT down stream of your Oblivion folder As a side note, did you happen to try a savegame from before you tried the sexchange? Once again, COMPLETE uninstall & Reinstall And it's entirely likely you may have to abandon your old saves Edit: From what I can tell, you're also experiencing some rather strange patching issues. Which version of Oblivion are you starting with, what's it's source, and what language is it in. You MUST use the correct, version specific patch. Germandeathkittiez
Did you try moving the mods somewhere else when reinstalling? all of that data does remain... (PS if you have Oblivion Mod Manager all you have to do to get the mods out of your data folder is double click on each one in Oblivion Mod Manager and it will remove all files included in this mod from your data folder. Only if you used that to install them...) Otherwise move your whole data folder out of the Oblivion route directory then reinstall (or ask bben for a better and more effective explanation of this) The saves might be the problem, but if it crashes on startup, then it's most likely a mod conflict, and in this case the patch. Seeing as you used a console command, that's probably what messed everything up so make sure you move all of your old data, and FAQ that console command to see if it has any potential consequences.
