DankTemplar
Tried Vortex and I HATE it (it's too automated, causes me nothing but grief and wastes time with troubleshooting weird stuff instead of just installing my mods the way I want and letting me handle the rest). No biggie though, there's other options...Problem I'm having is that the site now prompts me to download through Vortex now or manually. I can't select NMM like I used to be able to. Tried deleting API keys but that doesn't do anything to stop the site itself from sending Vortex download requests and showing me options for downloading to other mod managers like it used to before I installed Vortex.Need some help on how to de-couple the website from Vortex so it shows other mod managers as download options. Guest deleted34304850
its a browser setting. you've told your browser to use vortex - tell it to use some other sub-par product instead.
Tannin42
Start the mod manager of your choice (e.g. NMM) and have it associate itself with Nexus Mods (nxm) links. It's up to an application to register itself as the handler (which is an operating system setting). Some browsers may indeed have their own ideas, overriding the OS setitng, but that is then between you and your browser. No Mod manager I'm aware of does anything other than register itself as the system default.
