How do I make ice-colds and compile a patch?

So i pitched an idea to Shallowbay, you know, the maker of Shallow's Snacks and The Soylent Encounter. The snacks beverages aren't the protein supplements Soylents are, they're soda, cola and beer. So I pitched the ice-cold option for consistency's sake. Ice-cold generally means double strength and all that but it's mostly because Nuka-cola has this as do the various pieces from Soda Heaven.

 

He explained he hasn't modded in years and gave ME permission to make the patch. Well, anyone else might consider this open permission as he called the whole thing a cool idea, pun hopefully unintentional. I literally have no modding under my belt. I need help.

What's the patch for, exactly? I'm unclear.

Anyways, Food and drinks are in the Magic>Potion section of the Creation Kit. To make ice cold versions of anything you just duplicate the original, rename it, and double(approximately) the magnitude of all the effects EXCEPT the chem radiation damage and the caffeine(if applicable). Then you just place it somewhere cold, or a working fridge etc. If you're feeling ambitious I suppose you could try to add some more drinking buddy dialogue but if you're really just starting out that's surely beyond you right now.

The patch is for the beverages for Shallow's Snacks. This isn't Shallowbay91's second mod... the soylent shakes are protein supplements. I refer to the soft drinks and beers in his first mod. I've contacted Shallowbay91 on the subject and he's perfectly alright with someone doing this as the beer and drinks (Including TAB) are just as suited for Ice Cold examples as Gwinnett or Nuka-Cola (Or Vim).

Less a patch and more an update or separate mod really. A patch implies modifying the original items/functionality but Ice Colds are completely separate items like I said. If you have the Creation Kit installed I'll help guide you on how to make it.
