ADragonCalledGeorge
While playing the brilliant game of Dishonored also by Bethesda, I was struck with an epiphany that Skyrim has many missing first person animations. They have animations for fighting and such-like but we need more animations for realism. It really breaks immersion when my character vanishes while swimming and stuff. I hate going into third-person though since it's much easier to see stuff in first-person for me. However, it feels wrong to not see your hands when they should be there, pushing the water away and moving your character forward. Also there should be first person animations for looting things, opening doors, reading books, stealing, etc. And one major thing is first-person horse riding and now Dragon flying! The list goes on! These are just a few ideas and I think it would really add to immersion and realism if this could happen. Or if it has already happened, please point me to the mod and I will check it out. I know there are a couple first person mods floating around but none on this scale methinks. Anyhow, enough rambling and I'd love to hear your thoughts on this topic and it would be bloody brilliant if this could be turned into a reality. Many thanks in advance!! :)
ADragonCalledGeorge
P.S. There could even be first-person for crafting, mining, wood-chopping, running, walking, jumping and even sleeping. However, the sleeping animation would only happen as you lie down on the bed and hence from the first few minutes before falling asleep of course. There should also be first and third person for dragging items and bodies. That would be epic!!
zebem
There is a work in progress called The Joy of Perspective (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6002/?). I'm eagerly waiting for it to be finished (I don't use it yet since archery is kinda broken and most of my characters use a bow more or less). I'm not sure if it will do all the things you mentioned, but it's still nice. Edited September 18, 2013 by zebem
