Did you get any inspiration from Windows 8 Live Tiles Interface/UI? I ask because it looks very similar to Windows 8 "tablet" mode. It might be good though and I like the top six or so tiles/icons but it becomes too cluttered and crowded on the bottom. Perhaps you could opt for a Steam like UI with tiles on the top and normal panels on the bottom? Not sure really but the site could use some upgrading for sure. Can't wait to see how this plays out! :)

So I think I have a major, game-breaking quest bug and was wondering if someone has found this problem and knows how to fix it or if there are mods that can fix it. Thing is after completing the "Get Junior" quest-line I never got approached by King Radovid and taken to his ship so far as I remember since I did not get the quest line triggered for "Favor for Radovid" and because of that I can't make the "Now or Never" quest-line begin. I have completed all the other necessary quests but those two won't start and was wondering if someone could make a bug fix for this or tell me how. I have been spending a long time trying to find out why the quest won't start. Basically it is the Brotherhood in Arms: Novigrad quest-line and it is stuck at Triss's. I would really appreciate some advice on what to do. Many thanks in advance!! :)

Can someone please make a Long Bow for this game (Fallout 4)? I really want to go all sneaky with a long bow of some kind and snipe my enemies. I know there are sniper guns but I am not good at shooters and would prefer archery to guns. Even a crossbow would be cool! You could theoretically change a gun to look like a crossbow and use different audio types. I know nothing of modding though so I can't make my own mods. First of all I wanted to thank you Dark0ne for all your help in making the Nexus what it is today! Skyrim is my favourite game of all time and I love using mods and looking through new mods and watching mod reviews on YouTube etc. Shame I can't make mods myself but I'm nowhere near smart enough. Anyhow, I ran into a slight problem. Basically my account is very very old (2 or 3 years old. At the time I used an alternative email address to my current one since I got a new one after a while and I forgot the password and stuff to that account. I also can't seem to remember this password since I had my PC set to remember this password automatically. I want to change my password and email address but I cannot remember my details so I am afraid I cannot change them. I was wondering what I should do now. I tried recovering my email through the official methods (I have Yahoo!Mail) but nothing works. Any thoughts on what I should do next? I payed for Premium membership ages ago so I would hate to lose that functionality if I make a new password. Many thanks in advance and keep up the great work!! :)

Hey! I don't know where to post this but I am having a strange bug with the Skyrim Nexus website itself. I haven't tried any other Nexus sites but so far it is only Skyrim Nexus. Anyhow, the Nexus Chat is not working. It says there is an error and it will not load the chat. I agreed to their terms and haven't said anything I shouldn't so far as I am aware so I don't know what went wrong. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not but there appears to be zero people on the chat list as well. Peraps they are all having the same error as I am? I don't know. Anyhow, just wondering who I shoul tell since I am relatively new to the chat feature of this site. Many thanks in advance!

Do you think it would have been better to get it for the 360 which I have? Problem is I can't really exchange it since it was a Christmas present. And I don't want to offend my sibling who paid an arm and a leg for it! *sighs*

My laptop specs are i3, 4gb of ram, Intel HD 4000 graphics and Windows 8. I have installed the game fine from the Bioware server thingy and can see the intro cut scene, menus, text, and voices. However, I cannot see the actual cut scenes themselves nor can I interact with characters let alone see them. This is driving me up the wall since I really want to play the darn game. I have a legit legal copy of it and have tried all the patches and injectors in the world but so far - nothing! Does anyone here know of a way to make this game work on a low end laptop without a quad core processor? Many thanks in advance!! :)

How possible is it to make a Flail with Physics? We have tons of cool physics mods so do you all think a Flail would be possible? It could have some kind of stagger effect on enemies or even a mini-Fus Ro Dah effect. Any thoughts people? Is there a mod like this already?

This would be a dream come true! I have used the Nexus site for years now as a Premium User having played Skyrim way back from its release date on the 11/11/11 and using mods all the way. This would be a chance to give something back to the community and help move things forward to a bright future! Unfortunately I lack the experience though I do have a keen interest in computers and am working towards building my own. Sadly my CV doesn't have any computer related stuff so I will let the next person attempt to fill this role. What I do have lots of is time though and a keen interest in the Nexus sites and mods in general. Mods are what keep games interesting after they have run their race after all. Looking at the requirements I realize that they don't necessarily focus on computer skills and that makes it all the more tempting. Hmm...

I know that the voice actor for Nazir did voice-acting for Fallout 3 hence his famous 3 dog tweet. However I still have hope for another elder scrolls game since the Elder Scrolls Online was horrible. I played the Beta and it was crap. There is no way it's an elder scrolls game. Maybe if people weren't harping for multiplayer so much they could have actually made a proper Elder Scrolls game. Also I think that not only will they release an Elder Scrolls VI but also a Fall out 4 and possibly Dishonored 2 among other games - maybe even a new IP! I am the one hoping for the next TES game but I realize it probably won't happen due to the TESO fail. Thanks Zenimax! That said I might check out Tamriel Unlimited for PC if it has a cheap deal somewhere along the line. I don't care if no one else plays it cause I prefer the solo aspect of the game. Fingers crossed!!

In the long-awaited sequel to Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim, fans can expect to experience the most epic and longest loading screens ever. Never again will they have to wait for a loading screen before travelling to another cell. From now on - the loading screens will come to them! They will get to quest with all kinds of loading screens and will go up against the toughest loading screen of all - the 10 hour long loading screen! Will they win? @Camonna Tong I would have believed you. However, the Vampire Dante said that the voice actor Bethesda hired for the next gen action RPG (the alleged Fo4) was in fact Nazir from the Dark Brotherhood in Skyrim. So he could easily take place in the next Elder Scrolls game assuming it is a sequel since he is still alive at the end of the Dark Brotherhood. Or he could easily be a new character given how limited Bethesda's voice-acting usually is for their TES games. Of course it could be Fo4 but think about it. They haven't made Fo4 yet and they already made Tamriel Unlmited which throws your theory out of the water since they didn't make Fo4 instead making the Elder Scrolls Online and yes I know that it was made by Zenimax but it is still marketed by Bethesda as an Elder scrolls game of sorts. Since it's not doing very well now would be the right time to show that they are still in the fantasy business and release the next Elder Scrolls game. It has been almost 5 years since the previous Elder Scrolls game (the true one - Skyrim - DLC's don't count) and every Elder Scrolls game comes out once every 5 years. True fact!! In an Interview with Todd Howard that can be found on youtube he said something along the lines of Elder scrolls being Bethesda's baby and that he would really like to make another one. When asked if he was making another one he said that they didn't want to release anything before it was ready but when it would happen it would be big which could signal their E3 event being a TES reveal. Also someone mentioned on a forum (I have to look it up) that Todd Howard also stated there would be one more game on the Creation Engine which made Skyrim. This could easily be the next Elder Scrolls game since mods have shown that it can be tweaked to look like a next-gen game. However it could still run on low-end PC's and such. Also, there is no other game to my knowledge made with the Creation Engine except for Skyrim so it would stand to reason that Skyrim's sequel would be made with the same engine if they are in fact making another TES game. Anyhow, that's just my reasoning. Watch a bunch of interviews on YouTube and all the signs seemingly point to the next Elder Scrolls game. They wanted it to be the Elder Scrolls Online but when that wasn't popular I bet they realized that they should go back to their single-player roots and make another TES game. What will it be about? Where will it be set? What will the player do in this game? Who knows? But I know that it will blow Skyrim out of the water and be the best RPG of our current day and age! :-) P.S. Look it up on wikipedia: The voice actor for Nazir did indeed play a role in Fallout 3! Elder scrolls 6 confirmed? ;-)

I can't wait for the summer sales. *sighs* That said, I am really hoping for news about the Elder Scrolls VI regardless of voice actors and FO4 rumours. I know that the Elder Scrolls is their baby considering they gave it its own MMO and I doubt they did that for any other games. With the bad rep that TESO got now would be a good time to show they are still on the fantasy throne by releasing another Elder Scrolls game. However due to Tamriel Unlimited coming out I doubt that will happen sadly. So in all likelyhood this E3 will probably be Fo4 or some other new game or a sequel to one of their previous games like Dishonored which was okay. I wouldn't mind a sequel for that but I haven't played any Fallout games since I am an Elder scrolls fan so fingers crossed. Maybe Bethesda will smile on us and give us both games? After all they did say it would be their most exciting reveal yet!

Before making Skyrim, Bethesda was asked to make an open world sanbox RPG set in the Game of Thrones universe. They wanted to make one such video game but turned down the offer to make the Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim. With the arrival of Season 5 of GoT fast approaching, perhaps Bethesda has turned their attention towards this budding new fantasy franchise? I think a Game of Thrones RPG made by Bethesda would sell millions especially if it has adult elements like the TV Show and the Witcher franchise.

I've always wanted to use Dragon Shouts relentlessly without the cool down. So I wanted to try using the Restoration Glitch/Loop/Exploit on an Unenchanted Amulet of Talos using a mod that let me disenchant unique artefacts. However much to my dismay I found that the powerful enchanting potions won't work on an Amulet of Talos as the 20% buff remains that much and doesn't get any bigger. Is there any way to go around this? Or should I just install a mod that removes the cool down?

I didn't know that there were any besides like the season mods. Would you be able to recommend a few? Cheers!

So, I was looking at a new tree retexture mod for Skyrim and I got the idea to make a mod that retextures the caves, barrows, and dungeons throughout Skyrim. I was mainly thinking how boring it is seeing the same old drab brown and grey over and over again - all fifty shades of it!! Sorry I couldn't resist, lol!! ;-) Anywho, I was wondering if there is a mod that retextures this somehow differently yet vanilla at the same time. Basically giving it a new look like all the city retextures. Maybe with parallax or something different? If not, I challenge someone to make this! We all know how boring caves and dungeons are in Skyrim so maybe someone can make it slightly different? I am rubbish with the Creation Kit though I might try and fiddle around with it when I make my new PC. Many thanks in advance!! ;-)

I am no good with the Construction Kit so I am asking the modding community if anyone would like to make a simple mod that adds a quest to find all the East Empire Company Stronboxes and Pendants. It would be similar to the Stones of Berenziah quest but on Solstheim and with map markers. I want to get them all cause I am doing a dunmer/dragonborn DLC-based game and that's a good way to get cash on Solstheim so that would be a big help! Many thanks in advance! :) P.S. I have looked up all the mods on enchantments and so far they only either remove them or give you more slots to add more enchantments. I am happy with the vanilla options but I would like to have the choice to transfer an enchantment from one item to another, either vanilla or self-made. That would be extremely useful and save making potions and gear. I know it can be done easily otherwise but there are certain enchantments I made that I can't make again because they cause the game to crash *cough* (restoration glitch/loop) *cough, cough* So yeah such a mod would be extremely useful and I'd really appreciate it. Greetings all!! This is a simple mod request for an already made Fish Hatchery player home. It would be ideal if you could make two or three hatcheries for different kinds of fish or maybe just one big one. Cause I want to use it for alchemy potions as finding those fish takes a while. So yeah that would be really cool. I'm not too fussed about the player home. It could be a simple tent with an alchemy lab. But anything would be great really. Just the usual safe storage, a bed, maybe an oven from Hearthfire (not necessary though) and the crafting stuff (smithing/alchemy/enchanting, etc). The main thing I am after is the Fish Hatchery cause it takes forever to do that quest and get Winstead Manor, not to mention finding all the ingredients. So yeah if someone would be awesome enough to make this for me I would be really appreciate it and give you tons of Internet cookies or something, lol. If someone could also add a large garden from Hearthfire that would be equally awesome but I am already using a garden player home so I wouldn't mind just the fish hatchery with a map marker for fast travel and all. P.S. Latest update, it seems to be working now but no guarantee that it will continue good like this. Maybe it was a server overload? Or I had too many games installed at once? Either way, fingers crossed and I hope it stays fixed. Dunno what went wrong but I'd appreciate some advice if this happens in the future.

So I have never had many problems with Steam even though I've got an old PC (Windows XP, Intel Dual Core 2.0GHz, 4gb of RAM, Radeon HD 7750 - used to be Nvidia GT 210). In fact I can run many games ranging from good old Skyrim to the Witcher 2 and even possibly Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag if the required specs are to be believed. However, as of last night and today I have had an incredibly annoying problem. My issue is that for some bizarre reason Steam exits two minutes after launch. I can't sign into the steam website from Google Chrome because it says my login is incorrect despite the fact that I just successfully changed my password on my dad's laptop. It works fine there though I didn't try playing any games. Thus, I know my account isn't hacked thank god. However, it still won't work on my PC. Steam did a survey of my PC too earlier so maybe they thought my PC wasn't good enough? Is it because it still has Windows XP and they finally stopped letting people use Windows XP for Steam? It's run just fine before and I don't know what to do. I can't post this thread on Steam for obvious reasons and I didn't know where else to post it so I thought I would try here, maybe Tom's Hardware forums. I scanned my PC with AVG Antivirus (free version) and my PC is clean though I do have tons of pop up adds and the like which is really annoying. Could my Steam be infected? I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but that didn't help either. I am at the end of my rope and would hate to lose access to all my games that I spent so much money on. Please help!!!
