Like what kind of shoes and boots? And consider that in FO3 clothing fits the whole body, so no single footwear would be possible unless you want to run around naked in boots.

that mod adds just shoes that can be used by themselves so it can be done. as for what kinds, any. combat & hiking boots. there are already great textures ingame. there's also mods that let u have just gloves so i would think shoes wouldn't be that tough

Let's see. It's possible to make some boots that would be worn "over" a given clothing. But there would always be some serious clipping issues. That's because you can't remove only the feet part of a clothing mesh.

 

Gloves are different because the hands are treated different than the rest of the body in the game, and most armors have a "hands" model appart from the body.

ah thanks for your help. but then how did she make those shoes in that Gypsy mod? as u can see from pics the shoes are not attached to the pants

Dunno, I don't have the mod. But it's easy when you are making your own meshses. The problem is to make them fit the original ones. You can always model shoeless outfit and later some shoes meshes.

This could be funny. Could have someone make clothing items that spoof that of other games. Like boots of speed with some silly comment/description.
