It was during that long collaboration that they discovered a shared passion for making great games. They began making plans to finish their major mod projects, and move into indie development with a new breed of RPG game. The first draft of the dev plan for the Unwritten series was born three years ago with these words "Make a better RP Experience for Immersion Players" and that remains our goal. Today Druid Gameworks is a fledgling Indie Game Studio made up of several veteran developers from the Elder Scrolls Modding community as well as industry experienced developers. Combined we have over 50 years of game design credit and we're ready to put it to the test in our first commercial title. For more about Druid Gameworks, please visit our About Us page and take a spin by our F.A.Q thread. We'd love to hear what you'd like to see most in an open play RPG environment so stop by and tell us, We're Listening! http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg21/Darkrder/Druid%20Gaming/Kickstarter/SocialTag02_zps452899b4.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg21/Darkrder/Druid%20Gaming/Kickstarter/KickTag_zpsd19d3e3c.jpg ©2013 Druid Gameworks Edited November 13, 2013 by Darkrder
billyro
I've been keeping track of this project for some time, and I'm really excited about it. It looks like a lot of thought went into it and it shows already. I've very happy that the armour concept designs look like they would actually be practical is battle, unlike most games these days. Also, the concept of the city with the massive castle looming in the background is amazing (I can tell that shall be my favourite city). I have a few questions, if you don't mind. :smile:First, since this team is made up mostly of modders, will there be mod support for this game? Also, will the game have that fantasy colour scheme, or will it go in the direction of realism graphics-wise?How open world is it? Can you access all the houses and go wherever you want without invisible wall restrictions? And how much can we expect from our companions? Will they have their own quests, opinions, romance, and fighting styles? Last one, what will combat be like? Real time action, strategy, turn-based, tactical? Is the combat dangerous and deadly, where a single misstep could result in death? And that's pretty much all I want to know. Sorry about that! :tongue:But from what I've seen so far, I already will buy this game and support the project on Kickstarter as well. :D Anyway, keep up the great work. I'm looking forward to it. EDIT: Oh, I can't access the Kickstarter page. The link simply doesn't function. Is it dead, or am I clicking the wrong thing? Wait, it appears that the Kickstarter page hasn't been created yet. Very well, I shall wait. Aaaaaaaaaaand... about the registration question on the Druid Gameworks page; "What colour is an evening sky?" Would that be... orange? Is it a trick question? I'd say orange. Or is it meant to be twilight? I dunno, I'm dumb. EDIT 2: Okay, I just put in orange and it seems to work, haha. I should probably ask these questions on that forum. I'll do that now. Thor.
Good this games using the nexus as a way of endorsing Echoes of the twilight, not to many developers seem to be willing to do so. Also wonders if its going to be moddable  It should be front page news, once the entire member base see's it certainly would make its goal. Maybe you Darkrder should contact Dark0ne, he might be willing to help out on the cause  nearly 10million members who knows what might happen  This game deserves it, I am helping in on the cause. Everyone should do the same. I haven't backed it yet, but i will in do time  Edited September 30, 2013 by Thor.
