Deleted3765355User
What is the proper default setting for the UExterior Cell Buffer ini tweak in the Skyrim.ini file? Mine is currently set at 20, which I did not set manually. I see a lot of people with it at say 64 and was wondering what the correct default number is, and if mine is lower, what could be causing that? Deleted31005User
dunno but I just looked at mine and its 64 as well.Maybe its 20 for you because the game detected your hardware on the first time it launched and decided minimum settings were in order? Percevan
It's derivated from your uGridToLoad setting:uGridsToLoad=XuExterior Cell Buffer=(X+1)^2Examples: uGridsToLoad=5uExterior Cell Buffer=36uGridsToLoad=7uExterior Cell Buffer=64 etc... Deleted3765355User
Very strange. My rig runs the game on ultra with 240+ mods at 45 FPS average. I just manually reset the grid number, I'll check if there's a difference ingame later.
