Tamriel Reloaded: Textures and Parallax (WIP)

I'm looking forward to dowload your Whiterun tundra  Please consider uploading both esp and loose files. I really like to miss and match textures from different pack (and I believe you will find some ppl doing the

same  ).

As for Whiterun city. You certainly can keep clean look, however I feel you should adjust some textures to work together. The ground is not fluid, it looks like someone divided it into squares (photo no 10 in 1st post, no 4 in 2nd). Notice how you have stone steps and green grass at the bottom of screenshot and then suddenly grey rectangle and then orange bricks. The grey texture around well is also out of place. I would play a bit with saturation and color hue, or maybe use solid stone texture instead small grey grains. The bricks seem to be floating above (optical illusion?!) your dark green wrdirtgrass (or however that texture was called) and should be slightly darker to match grass level (photo no 3 in 2nd post).

Overall I like your textures and would want to see how they look with my lightning set up.

  • 2 weeks later...

I started to work in a retexture project which also add parallax that atm covers whiterun, solitude, riften, villages, windhelm and roads. Would like to know if i must continue work and relelease it or stop here. Some pics with ENB:

I think that as soon as you're done with Whiterun fix, you should release your textures as loose files under WIP (and with time build upon it). Authors update they mods all the time, it's rare to see texture pack done in one go. I encourage you to go out with your work. The endorsement you'll get will keep you motivated. The other benefit is receiving input from users that had opportunity to check your textures on their own machines.
