WeeziMonkey
Hellow! So, i have been trying to use the Creation Kit to make my own mod, and i discovered i dont have the patience, or maybe not even the skills, to learn it, so i decided to explain my mod idea here. Better Loot Have you ever killed a wolf, looted him, and you received some coins, and a golden ring? Or have you ever looted a dead skeleton, receiving golden coins, while he has no skin? And what about killing a bandit, who doesnt have food, wood, or a simple book with him, but does have coins and jewerly with them, in the middle of the forest!? If you agree with the things said above, then this mod is for you! Better Loot is supposed to make loot more realistic and challenging. I mean, if i loot dead skeletons, how can i get coins from it? They dont have skin or clothes to hide it in! And wolfs and frostbite spiders aren't supposed to have golden rings inside them either. So it removes those things, but also increases the value of some other things as compensation. You never bothered to get the bonemeal from skeletons, the wolf pelts from wolfs, or the skulls lying around in a dungeon, did you? Well, now you have to. Their values get increased, so you need to sell them to collectors, or to Mr. Belethor himself. This also makes it a lot harder to get rich so quickly. Interested in making? Then tell me, and i would be extremely happy if it would happen : ) But please answer these questions: Do you have skype? (for contact, so i can give idea's):Do you agree with crediting me in the topic?:
Dudeman325
Hrm, it could be done with some changes to leveled lists... It would be a bit of work, but not too much. The biggest problem I see is that a lot of other mods make their own changes to loot lists (like SkyTEST, for one), and I don't have the scripting skills to write one of those scripts that can change leveled lists in-game. It would probably take a few hours tinkering around with the lists if you wanted to do it yourself, but it seems like you mostly want to remove things so it shouldn't be all that hard, and who knows, you just might have fun. :)
