Hey all, many of you may have seen me around here. Before I learned to use the geck I was hanging out here a lot, but I felt that not enough was getting done so I want to offer my help. I am still learning and I'm far from "experienced", but I feel like I've put at least some quality content out there.

 

If you've never seen any of my mods before, I made Factions Reloaded - Legion and Factions Reloaded - Raiders which you may have seen on the hot files lately. I was going to move on to the Followers of the Apocalypse or the Boomers, but my brain is turning to mush from only working on this stuff. Anyways feel free to check out my past work if you're interested. Or not, I really don't mind either way.

 

Anyways I've been looking at the stuff people have been asking for, and I know lots of people are itching to get their mod created but there aren't many people on this side of the forums helping out.

 

I can NOT make new meshes, textures, etc. and I will only navmesh if I absolutely have to, as I hate it. I can do quests, dialogue, bases, encounters, basic scripts and a lot more, but my skills are somewhat limited as I've only been modding for a couple months. I'm not really sure if this is the best place to put this, but it's the only place I could think of. Please let me know if you have any sort of mod you want to see happen.

Greetings sir, my request probably falls under navmeshing (or worse, out right modelling, I'm not sure which) and I completely understand if you say no to it. I would like the lens on the Hazmat Darklight Cowl to be a separate branch from the main mesh (like how the Ghost people's cowl's lens are.) This would have to be done on the player model, the world model and the static suit in the pod.

 

If you can't/won't do this, I entirely understand sir.

Unfortunately this requires modelling experience which I don't have. I'd suggest putting that request here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/273308-new-vegas-mod-detectives/ as I'm sure it's been made before. If not, good luck to you. I'd suggest asking a modeller to help you or something like that. I am considering working on my own weapons, armor etc. in the future, but at the moment I want to get more familiar with other things like navmeshing and scripts before I do something like that.

I made my own topic for this awhile back, but no one has responded. I hope it's okay, I'm going to just copy and paste the post because it's a request anyways and pertains to what you were willing to do. This was originally for Fallout 3, but, with the context of the post, I think it would've eventually made it back to the Brotherhood of Steel in Nevada and other places. I was wondering if we could get a recolor of the Hellfire armor to match T-45d and T-51b helmet colors, and add some of the brotherhood markings you find on other armors to it. I figure that, after defeating the Enclave, the Brotherhood, while studying and reverse engineering Enclave tech, would at least supply some of their more elite forces with procured Enclave power armor, but not without recoloring them. I think the Brotherhood helmet it iconic, so they would color both Power Armor mk2 (Enclave Power Armor) and the Hellfire armor, so some of their troops. I could see Lyon's pride getting refitted very quickly, and having their special marks on it.

Could this be done, and then added into a post-game mod that would change some of the brotherhood to reflect their advancement? They're technically becoming more and more separate from the main branch, and it would be really phenomenal to see that difference reflected.

If anyone is willing to render an armor from the ground up, I have a design for a mk.III armor that the Brotherhood makes, but I wouldn't want to put that much stress on someone, as I can't really commission it.

Look, I know you said that you don't do textures, meshes, or any of that, but can you make a smoothly-animated transformable Gundam mod that will work with both Fallout 3 and New Vegas, as well as all of their DLC's, with a control panel in it that will let me swap between Type3 and Type6 bodies?

 

Just kidding.

 

What I'm looking for is a simple mod (in theory anyway) that will set the ownership on the stuff in the top floor of the rocket lab to 'available to take without karma loss' after you launch the rockets. You are the Bright cult's savior, for crying out loud - you should at least get to loot their offices for the stuff they didn't take with them without your reputation taking a hit, right?

You had me worried for a second. I'll see what I can do, but I'll have to add a script to every single item in there. I can always do the faster route and make it 'available without karma loss' in the first place, or at least make certain items like that, but I'll try my best.
