Ghetto Panorama!

I challenge y'all to take a series of photos (preferably near your home, ie. on a balcony or of your town) and stitch them together in a 'ghetto panorama'!

Fish eye lenses are NOT allowed! You must use regular lens and anything in photoshop to make it jumble-together better ;)

heres my entry:

Small-size preview (800x wide):

Bigger size (Detail view)! (4096x wide):

I forgot to take the 'Date Stamp' off my camera LOL (you can tell by the size of the date stamp where the more-zoomed-in-for-details pics are lol. (Yeah i know theres lots of bad seams, i didnt really bother taking the time to fix all of them, gotta keep modding Fallout 3 ;))

The original was 30900 x 17500 pixels, 52 layers (52 photos). Photoshop wouldnt let me save any PSD file with layers over 30k pixels large, so i reduced it to 29999 pixels in width and it saved fine... was a 1.9gb psd. (ive had up to 3gb psds before ><) .

Wouldnt let me do any filters on it (not enuf ram), and simple color corrections and stuff took about 2 minutes to complete. LOL.

Final JPG of a reasonable 20000x wide image was a 51mb JPG.

HINT: When you paste a photo, hit CTRL-T (transform) then right click and you get a minimenu of transform options. Skew and Distort are your best friends for trying to match up distorted photo-edges together.

HAVE FUN!

PS. if you look real close you can see what country I live in ;)

For the sake of your own security, you should probably refrain from doing this anywhere near your actual residence or anywhere you might be known since it can be rather easy to determine where said person may live if the photos have descernable landmarks. You never know what sort of disturbed/enraged individuals might have enough time to pay you a visit.

I agree with Vagrent0, for your own safety and security i suggest you keep a low profile when it comes to location on where you live. you never what might happen.

Of course on these forums you probably wouldn't have to worry lol  .
