Tired of restarting!

I am getting so angry with this now. I am spending more time restarting my computer than playing the game. It was running fine. Then I installed UFO, AFT and the companions Aranya, Lilium and Tauriel.

 

From this moment on my game started getting stuck at loading screens when I would enter the Drunken Huntsman or the Temple of Kynareth in Whiterun or the Eldergleem Sanctuary.

 

One by one I removed the mods to try and figure out what is causing the issue. I have now removed UFO, AFT and all 3 companions and my game still gets stuck on the loading screens regardless of which save game I use. I now have to start all over again!!

 

Can anyone understand this because it is really angering me now!!

You cannot have UFO and AFT running at the same time. UFO is basically an abandoned program and not recommended for use. AFT or EFF should be your follower mod and yes, after uninstalling UFO, you will have to start a new game, but most of your problems will disappear.

I think I broke my game. I uninstalled UFO, AFT and all companions and then loaded up my save game which is at the character creation point just after you step off the wagon in Helgen. I played through until I escaped Helgen and then went straight to Whiterun. The game crashed to the desktop as I entered Whiterun. I loaded the game back up again and tried loading the autosave that was created when I tried to enter Whiterun but that just got stuck.

 

I don't know what to do. The game was running fine before I loaded UFO with all my current mods. Now it's messed up.

if you've started a new game, uninstalled UFO and whatever else and you're crashing then your mods are the culprit.

 

BOSS then Tes5edit and rearrange mods as needed.

Otherwise verify steam cache and start a new game again.

I don't know what else to do. I have been through the mods and I have used BOSS to check the load order and as far as I can see it should all be working fine. I still keep getting these damned loading screens that go nowhere. I even started from the beginning again. Looks like I am going to have to delete all my mods and try installing them one at a time and then testing the game. Why does this have to be so difficult?
