batesmotel34
Well, there are certainly poeple who have been reputed to have worked for the CIA and the KGB in the real worls where they're called double agents. It certainly is not unreasonable to allow a player a choice like thati in a roll playing game like Morrowind. There is already some ability to do that in terms of being able to join House Televani and the MAges Guild, which are clearly opposed in most of their interests. Unfortunatley belonging to both doesn't force the player to make much in the way of difficult choices in game terms but you certainly could in terms of role playing. The inter guild politics between the Fighter's Guild leadership and the Thieve's Guild leadership does have a stronger interaction and requires some choices by the player as to which guild should come out on top but you can still end up heading both with no real difficulty. I would have to say personal stisfaction is the cause of joining all the guilds/houses it takes a VERY long time to get to the head! To me I feels satisfied once I am done.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes its a goal you can set, but not one I think should be. Imagine joining the deomcrats and republicans? Or joining the Canadian army if there even is one, and the British SAS, its just unrealistic. I know you should have the right to your own opinion but I want you to feel bad about joining all the guilds ^_^<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Dilvish
My characters tend to join a few factions that fit with their personality and talents. They generally go into semi-retirement when they reach level 40-50. My current character, Freydis Helsdottir is level 50 and just about to finish Tribunal. Her factions are House Redoran, Fighters Guild, Blades, and Ashlanders. She could go on to Solstheim from Almalexia but where's the challenge? The ability to create new and unique characters is one of the things that make Morrowind such a great game. Start out green in Seyda Neen. Try to be what you've never been.

When I get to certain level, I think I'm going to start all over again with a different race of character.
edstamos1
well, with Wakim's Game Improvements, I can't join all the factions at the start, simply because the stat requirements are higher.I always join the thieves guild for the removing bounties (just in case). But , lately anyway, I've been trying to play specific character types - a mage (i guess a double agent being both with the mages guild and the telvanni. some in the mages guild have expressed their disappointment in that regard, but of course they don't overtly oppose it).I've also got a theif (well, had a theif), that was with all the guilds, but only advanced up the theives guild. after a while she joined the Hlaalu (hel `al oo? or La-Loo? anyways...) i was using a race mod i don't currently have in my list, eljiit, and i don't plan on continuing that character.i've gotta disable the console key or something, because i always end up cheating for one reason or another. get all the way somewhere but forgetting to repair my weapons first, so i add a hammer to my inventory, or getting lazy walking from balmora to caldera when i'm not in the mages guild (and can't use their services thanks to WGI) so I COC there instead. or the worst - due to a shortage of magic potions in the guild, and my sign being the atronauch, i kept using "setmagicka 450" (my actual max magica at level 5) i'm a cheater and i hate myself for it :'(is there a cheaters anonymous out there? but yeah, i usually stick with 2 guilds. Jenlyn Fayre
If you play the XBox version (like me), you can't cheat because there's no way to change the game. At least none that I'm aware of... or care to BE aware of.

NinjaSalad
There are a few cheats related to health, magicka and fatigue but as you said you are not interested, I know the temptation to cheat is great.
