Achalon101
Hey everyone, I've got a CTD bug in The Sleeping Giant Inn in Riverwood. Any time I walk in the door I might get a few seconds to look around but it always crashes. I'm error checking as best I can but there's an adoptable kid in the inn I can't find a source mod for. Her name is Emeria and she's got weird legs, sort of like a dwemer spider or an insect. I haven't gotten a clear look as to if she's sitting on something or if she's actually lost her legs. I'm trying to identify the mod she's from so I can disable it and see if that's what's causing the CTD's in the inn. I've searched google, I've been examining my mods trying to find the one she's from, no luck so far. Any help would be appreciated. Shabdez
Open cosole, type: help emeriaTake note of the first two letters/numbers of the ID you see in the list of matching references. Check the mod with the corresponding load order in your mod manager. You can do this before entering the inn.

7531Leonidas
@JammieBenjarellaLasercarn If you grab More Informative Console ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19250 ), when you click on an object or character with the console open, you can see information about the mod and other mods that alter it. Check out the description and images on the mod page to see if it might be what you need.
anjenthedog
MO2 or Vortex? If you use Vortex, open the Mods tab, then choose NPC Children from the dropdown selector in the Category column. That should isolate and identify any mods you have that are delivering new child NPCs to the game. You can then investigate and or act accordingly. AFAIK, (at least based on your description) "Emeria" is not a vanilla child NPC, so I'd expect it comes from whichever one(s) you find above. Instead, if you use MO2, I'd guess that there is some similar "mechanism" for isolating children mods, but since I've never used MO2, I can't share the details. Hopefully someone else will pipe up on how to do that in MO2

scorrp10
More Informative Console is good when you can actually click on offending entity. If you crash out immediately when said entity enters your field of view, console is not too much help. So what you can do is while not in the inn, type "help Emeria", and in the shown list look for NPC_ entry for Emeria, and note the FormID (an 8-digit hexadecimal number) If this number starts with 'FE', it is a light mod. For example: with FormID FE037D64, in the plugin list in your mod manager, you look for plugin with index FE(037) If it starts not with FE, it is a regular mod. I.e. 2300A7B2, you look for plugin with index 23.

I'm not familiar but if the mod doesn't add quests that require the Emeria character you can just open the mod up in SSEEdit and delete her. Probably a CTD like this is a skeleton or corrupt mesh issue.
