NinjaSalad
Dear Friend and fellow gamers. I bring to you a topic for the strange, from the bizarre moons you see in the night sky, to the weird black pillars in the Bal Isra area. What are these things you ask? Well I don't know but thats the reason for this topic, for people to post strange things and see if we can figure them out! As for those weird black pillars, they seem to be stacked up in the shape of a disfigured person, but theres tons of them! All the same, why are they there? Who built them? If any one has any idea, post it, or post any other strange thing! Thanks.
Malchik
This belongs in Morrowind Lore, so will move it. There are quite a few interesting discussions in this part of the forum already, though I don't recall one on the pillars of Bal Isra. NS - my editing was only to remove a couple of typos. Abramul
Do you mean the road markers? or the lava bombs, which seem to have had faces carved into them?
NinjaSalad
Yes I beleve were talking about the same thing, I don't think there any writing or dialog about them, or at least I have not found anything for them. They have like arms and a head of sorts, if that clears it up a bit.

loveme4whoiam
Some kajit says that there are dragon in the high in the ski.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Okay... Anyway, i've just found something a bit wierd. I was wandering around north of Nefuchlig(bad sp, but you know the place), and i came across a piece of paper, called "A page from the History of Morrowind". It doesn't have anything written on it other than the title. I kept it, then looked up and saw a whole trail of them. I walked on, picking them up one by one. They lead around this rock outcrop and to a lava river, with a couple of rocks in the middle of it. At this point i was attacked by a Winged Twilight, and when i looked back down i couldn't see any more of them. Its just south of the Mabrigash camp, where you do a quest for the Ebisranium lot. Anyone know why theres a random trail of paper there?
Malchik
Imperial Legion quest out of Balmora. You have to rescue the guy from the mabrigash.
loveme4whoiam
Oh right. I know about the mabrigash quest, i got it before i went and completed the main one. Do the pieces of paper lead somewhere, or am i missing the point and they are actually a part of the quest? I got it from the Erabisranium lot, but i seem to remember something along the lines of "this person has been captured" being said to me afater a Balmora Legion's quest. Switch
You follow the paper trail from the Erabenimsun Camp and you will eventually find the Mabrigash Ashlander tent. Inside you'll find the guy you were sent to rescue.
Malchik
Yes and IIRC they talk about him dropping pages from his book so it's your clue where to go. Bethesda does tend to go in for spoon-feeding on many of their MW quests!
