Pickup Crane - Like Fallout 3.

So, on oblivion, back in 07 and 08, and Fallout 3. The house decoration was done with, basicly a crane like mechanic. Where the item is held by what felt like two fingers... it would pin point exactly where on the mesh you clicked, by your cross hairs, and enact the crane mode from that exact spot. Its weird but I actually prefer that method. Rather then more modern, with Skyrim and Fallout 4, where when you pick something up. You have a static Death grip on the item... Any mods out there that reintroduce the crane mechanic? If not, is it possible? Thats whats prevented me from decorating my house for all this time.... They ruined the way you make your house look cool.
