Dashael99
I'm afraid my character is already sufficiently overpowered that often when I attempt this stage of the Survival Guide research, the mole rats die before I get to observe the effect of the repellant, could some one either;a) make a quick mod to remove (or drastically reduce) the damage from the stick, orb) direct me to a tutorial so I can try and do it myself, orc) if someone has already done this one, could you possibly give me a link, as I can't find it. Much obliged.
TGBlank
open geck, load fallout.esm, find the molerat stick under items -> weapons, and edit the damage.Save, and add to your load order. Alternatively, inside the game, open console and use the modav command to temporally reduce your melee and strength, kill the molerats with the stick, and then revert your str and melee to their old values. Cipscis
In case you didn't already know, you can just hit the mole rats once and then leave them for a few seconds and they will die as they should. Cipscis
TGBlank
I think his problem is that they die from blunt trauma on the first hit.
Dashael99
Thankyou for the tutorial TGBlank, and you're exactly right. I play with the "Grognak's Disciple" perk from TheFakeEmpire's Ultimate Perk Pack, so the extra blunt force trauma is enough to consistantly crit the little buggers. I'm testing a version of the stick modded as per your instructions now, if it works as I hope I'll upload it and credit your assistance in the info.
