Lateraliss
So I'm brand new to modding, I did a test mod, did what the tutorial said, duplicated a cell, renamed, and saved. Did some re-working, and saved again. So when I went to launch Fallout 3 with the mod manager, my esp's didn't show up. So I went into data folder to find them, and they weren't there. Then I went to do a search for em, and all that was found was an icon to nothing. What could I possibly be doing wrong? I followed the GECK WIKI tutorial to a T. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? TGBlank
Lemme guess, you're using vista, you have UAC on, and fallout and geck are installed in program files. Solution 1:- Re-install fallout and the geck at another location (say, c:\games), or even better, in another partition if you have it.- Turn off UAC for that folder- Run stuff as admin.- Cross your fingers that vista doesn't screw you in any other way Solution 2:- Install xp.- Install Fallout & Geck
