FiftyTifty
Been busy the past few days making a tool that resizes Skyrim SE's textures, to those of Skyrim LE's. Good news, is that it is finally finished. Bad news, is that when uncompressed, Skyrim - Textures6.bsa is 2,048,271KB (2,049MB) in size. I remember there being a size limit for Bethesda's archives, but can't quite remember the maximum size. Any idea what it is?
IsharaMeradin
Based on my searching, 2 GB. It may actually be 2048 MB which you are just barely over. That said, I also read that the structure changed to allow any size BSA for SSE but the game engine may not have been adjusted to utilize BSAs larger than 2 GB. And since none of the game's BSA files exceeds 2 GB, it stands to reason that that is the limit. However, everything works and looks fine despite one of the archives being a bit over 2GB. I'll keep an eye on it, and report back if I find any definite issues.
